Fear

'But what was wrong with her? He knew that her body was made to heal her wounds quickly but since when did her body was so quick to heal her wounds that it was visible to the naked eyes. How was she able to do this?' Obi was flustered upon witnessing the scene just now. But then a thought flashed through his mind and his heart thumped. 'Is her body upgrading? No fucking way!!!' He began trembling upon thinking of this possibility.

'How could this happen? It was a miracle enough that this monster was able to survive all those years with everything that they did to her body but he never expected her body to not only survive but even upgrade it. 'Just how monstrous is this girl?' Obi once again raised his eyes to look at the devil in front of him.

His heart was pounding incessantly inside his chest. 'How could this girl do this? How in the world did this petite looking body manage to withstand all those things when even the strongest of our men failed to hold the line against those things. Not only she endured it, she even freaking upgraded. Just what is wrong with this girl?'

For the first time in his life, Obi related to the pain and fear of those who became the prey to this girl's power. He finally realised that he should not have laughed at those people when they were in the brink of their death when fighting against this devil. He finally understood their actions of begging this demon for their life at their last moment which he used to despise so much.

He finally managed to discern that they were not begging for their lives, they were begging her to kill her. To free them from this mental torture that her aura was putting on them just like his current predicament. They were begging her to not torture them before killing them as looking at her alone, they would have realised the pain that they were going to face in the hands of this girl. How could he have known these things, she seemed to have capability to emit this pressure only on her prey. No one else would ever be able to feel this intense pressure unless they were the one on the receiving end.

And those who faced this pressure never lived the next moment to tell the others. Dead men tell no tales. He finally realised what true Fear was.

Looking at Rain now, seeing the intensifying blood lust in her eyes with each passing second, he regretted his decision. He should have pretended to be dead and live his life peacefully instead of poking his nose into this swamp once again. Rain was not the same Rain she was ten years ago. She had upgraded. Just when he thought that he was a match to her, she proved him wrong. Utterly wrong.

"I should not have let those two brats closer to you. I should have just let them die back then" Obi confessed his deepest regret when he saw that Yama had already made the preparations to take him away to hell. He had no way to escape. Now, he could only fight, put his faith on his luck which was equivalent to finding a needle in the five oceans.

Rain eyes flickered on hearing his words about her siblings. "Guards, let it in." Rain commanded in a low, creepy voice. The guards shuddered. Those who had followed her quickly left the room, shutting the iron doors which was their only escape from the impeding danger. The other guards watching the scene in the controlling room quickly pressed some buttons which allowed some air conditioner like machines in the torture room to flap open and in came a rustic, iron like smell. The rustic smell of blood filled the entire room in no time and Rain closed her eyes as soon as the stench entered her system, overwhelming her senses.

When she opened her eyes after a few seconds, gone was the innocent lustre in her eyes which was able to hypnotise Elliot, the lustre which made her look alive, the shine which held the innocence of a child, the shine, which made her look a human. The pure whites were now replaced by bloody red. And the innocence was replaced by absolute blood lust.

Seeing the changes in Rain's eyes, Obi wasted no time and launched an attack on Rain, intending to take her by surprise. Just as his leg was about to hit her temples, Rain grabbed his legs with one hand which stopped him in his actions. Next, she tossed him to the wall like some sort of a plush toy.
