Sierra was now standing alone in a battlefield, trying to come up with a solution but all she could hear was the loud roars of her problems. On one side, there was her peace, then on the other side, it was her family's trust, specially Jenny, Sierra was fearing the moment Jenny would look her with hatred, Sierra couldn't stand even the thought of it. After weeks of consideration, Sierra was exhausted and she was ready to lay her armor down.
Sierra walked into the living room towards Falene. Seeing her, Falene was relieved that she finally decided to come out after weeks of laying onto her bed.
Sierra gave Falene a hopeful smile then asked,
"can we talk for a moment"
"sure thing honey" Falene said "come, sit on the couch"
Sierra settled herself on the couch and then continued.
"my finals are a week away, after that I'll be done with highschool"
"I know, my baby's all grown up"
"I was thinking, if I could go away for a while after the finals. I really need some rest"
Falene looked at her with surprise, then said
"Uh, sure. you can go to London, there lives your uncle Astorre and you can apply for colleges as well" she paused for a moment and said "if you wish to study further, it's your free will"
Sierra smiled at her then said.
"Thank you, thank you for everything"
Falene gave her a kiss on forehead and let her go.
After the week of finals, Falene arranged the visa and passport for Sierra and even booked the tickets beforehand. meanwhile, Sierra decided to have one last party with her friends and sister, and make it as memorable as possible. she invited Adrien, Nalene, Jade, Jenny and Marc to the house she previously lived in. Falene did not sell their previous property and was saving it for future, if any one of the sister would need it later in life, they'd have it all to themselves.
The morning before Sierra's flight, she borrowed the keys to their house and drove with Marc and Jenny, brought some alcohol with her fake ID on the way and when they reached, her friends were already waiting for her outside. They all hugged Sierra really tight because it had been a long time since they last met. Later that night, they all had a really good time, Nalene, Sierra and Jade drunkenly played poker and were laughing hysterically at stupid things the whole time. Jenny, Marc and Adrien were playing board games and were telling each other their life stories like some sort of good old friends. They all played music and danced and they ended this wonderful night with a game of truth or dare.
After that, they all left for their homes. Adrien drove Nalene and Jade and Marc agreed to drive the car while Jenny would take care of Sierra. When they reached home, Jenny laid Sierra on the bed then Marc and Jenny snuck into their room to have a good time.
It was no secret that Jenny loved Marc with all of her passion, it was a young love full of reckless emotions. Marc loved Jenny's challenging nature along side her beauty. They both loved each other alot and were obviously willing to experience as much as they could, so that night, Jenny and Marc slept together and after when they were done, Marc snuck back into his own room and they both stayed up thinking about every feeling they had just experienced together.
Next morning, Falene received a phone call at eight am, just before she was about to wake Sierra up for her flight. After hearing whatever the other person was saying, she was shaken to the soul. Falene rushed to each and everyone's room and ordered them to gather around at the dinning table. Her two daughters, Marc and Jenny came down to the living room and were welcomed by both of their parent's worry some faces. Falene took a deep breath and starred at Jenny, them said.
"I just received a call from police, they are saying they found a body. The ID holds Sierra's name and address. They want us to confirm whether it is her or not"
Jennifer felt like her heart stopped, everything around her was spiralling. It was the similar feeling she experienced when she watched her mother's car get crushed that night. She immediately lost the appetite for breakfast and was hoping that it wasn't Sierra.
Everyone else ate their breakfast half heartedly and then Jenny, Falene and falene's husband left for the identification of the body.
The cops led them into a cold room where a body was covered with the white cloth, the cop uncovered the body's face and they all froze for a second. Jennifer's world stumbled upon her, felt like everything in her body stopped. She didn't cry, not because she wasn't sad, but because she couldn't comprehend what was happening. Her sister's face covered with blood was laying Infront of her and there was nothing she could do about it. Not even shed a tear.
