"She is so fucking same as our mother back home. What the fuck? How am I supposed to be normal about that? I mean, she isn't worse but, shit. What was I even thinking?" Paula said as soon as their parents left the hospital room, pacing from one end to another. Ervin had left earlier, thanks to his college classes, he didn't have to sit there awkwardly while their parents babbled about their business and high class lifestyle. On the same side, Paula didn't find her mother's attitude as much changed from previous reality as she had expected.
"Don't bother about that. We are not to stay here longer than necessary."
"This doesn't actually mean you can't spend time with them, you know. I don't mind at all. In fact you should arrange a meeting with them once you get back on your feet. Well and healthy dinner." Paula cane to sit on the couch and pulled her legs up to her chest.
