Chapter three: Kattegat involvement

King of Kattegat Igor Meyers a Christian Viking, famous warrior from the blood line of Bjorn the iron side received an envoys from his friend king Sigurdsson of Norway and their number surprised him also seeing Harold, the grandson of ivar pop up a lot of questions but what matters is what's the purpose of the visit, he welcomed them with what all Vikings do when happy with their visitors (women, alcohol, and music) ; at the scene of the celebration Harold met the step sister of king Igor (mona) and he is been taking away by her beauty , though she had a crush on him ever since he stepped on the soil of Kattegat but she didn't even introduce herself to him and when all the soldiers were taking ladies to their rooms he was left alone because she ordered all the stripped ladies to back off from him. He was sitting stranded and alone, she just bang into his room and asked seductively "may I join our visitor" and he said yes my lady, she sat on his bed and asked "who are you? You don't look like a Norwegian" he responded "yes I am not but I am a Viking as everyone here so I guess Kattegat can also be my home" and she asked "may I ask what brought you to Kattegat? He responded "its personal and I can only discuss that with your brother" she then stripped naked and said " this should also be personal between us I guess" after he looked at her and felt that he can't resist so he went forward and had sex with her and inform her about the purpose of their visit , motive and objectives upon which they built the hunt.

The next morning the king summoned them and asked "what brought the grandson of ivar the boneless to Kattegat with the army from Norway? I hope is not about his lost kingdom because we are not ready for any form of battle'' Harold responded "despite the fact that we share Ragnar's blood you know I won't come to seek for your help'' king Igor asked "then what brought you to Kattegat'' Harold responded "mutual benefit which can lead to the greatness of Vikings "they continue to discuss in detail about their intension and needs but at the end king Igor decided to state his stance in two days. The kings step sis mona became so eager to hear about her brothers decision over the matter because of her love for Harold, she started to talk to the kings wife riyarla about her opinion regarding the ideology, this made the hope of Kattegat involvement in the hunt to advance and other members of the kingdom were also in support considering the adverse financial situation of the Vikings and their huger for treasures and a test of foreign soil. After King Igor stated his stance to the public about joining the hunt the people of Kattegat became so excited and were willing to go with the kingdom of Norway but on condition that everything will be shared 50/50, King Igor decided to arrange ships and men with weapons to sail through the northern sea. The other aspect Harold don't know and the kingdom of norway is that king igor of Kattegat already knew about the hunt since when they sent a delegation to London , king Erick already informed king igor about what he heard from the Norwegians and were planning to go together , but the only problem is that they information they heard is not solid so they decided to talk about it at the right time during Vikings nations meeting which usually happen in Kattegat every end of the year; king Igor after receiving the proposal from Norway whom had the most detailed information he decided to be part without the awareness of London, but the problem is that there is no way he can pass through the northern sea without them knowing so he decided to send one ship every day and he has the number of 50 ships , so he needs 50 days before all the ships could pass through London so he informed Harold bjoha about how the sailing will be , if it's of interest of Norway then its fine the journey should begin in two days and that each ship will contain twenty people of Kattegat and fifty Norwegians . After the return of Harold bjoha to Norway king Sigurdsson and the committee for the hunt were present and Harold feeds them with information from Kattegat; though they were willing to agree but were very thoughtful of the days which is almost equal to the number of days to be spent on horses; but that's the easiest and the safest so they decided to organize horse men first.
