His office (Edited)

They walked side by side inside the building. As usual, Jeff cut the picture of the mature one of them in one of his classy blue suits while Amy looked like the rebellious one in a khaki jumpsuit that reached her knees and her black sneakers, this time there was a black durag in her head.

When they headed for the private elevator, she could feel all the eyes on them. She minded her business but did not forget to check the receptionist who watched her with her mouth open. Yes, b*tch, I am this a**hole's wife. She smiled coldly at the lady and got in the elevator.

This time the treatment she got made her pleased. All the workers who came across them bowed and greeted them politely. "Sir, ma'am," the receptionist on Jeff's floor greeted.

Amy frowned as her lips tightened. "No, please refer to my name, Mrs. Williams." She wanted this to be as fun as possible.

"Morning Mrs. Williams," she greeted again. Amy expressed her dissatisfaction on her face.

"You're saying it like it's a disease." The poor receptionist apologized while Jeff who had stood to watch shook his head and walked to his office. "Go on with your work, hey Jeff, who are you walking out on?" she yelled as the workers on the floor gasped at her audacity.

She ran into his office and was about to get in when she stopped by his secretary, the woman had worn a short skirt and her blouse exposed all her cleavage. Is this what is called seducing the boss? Her mind told her to walk into the office and that it wasn't her business, it was Stephanie's and she deserved to find Jeff cheating but another part of her wanted to spice things up by making a scene.

The latter won and she scrutinized the woman openly from head to toe. The woman didn't seem to like her either and she returned the favor amusing Amy to the core. This was going to be interesting. "Excuse me, are you my hubby's secretary?" she asked to wound the woman further.

"Yes," answered the woman as she adjusted her clothes.

Amy broke into a sarcastic laugh. "Are you sure you're his secretary and not some whore he handpicked from some harem?" she asked again even leaning on her glass table.

The woman recovered from the shock and turned angry. "What did you call me?"

Amy laughed as if what she was seeing was indeed funny. "What are you going to do about it?" she asked with a smile.

The lady's face transformed and her nostrils flared. "You have no right to embarrass me like that, you even got married to him forcefully."

Amy was now grinning. "Is that what you comfort yourself with?" from the corner of her eye she could see a crowd forming at the door.

"You're nothing but a local b*tch who got lucky."

Amy clapped a Duchenne smile playing on her lips. "I like that, I wonder where you got the information, I hope it also said that we are never divorcing too, hmm?" she shrugged as she moved away from the table. "I don't care if you seduce my hubby but I wonder what Stephanie will say about this. I should call her."

"If you're woman enough then fight me."

Amy pouted and shook her head clicking her tongue. "Tsk, you're too foolish to be working for my husband, I am not foolish enough to get into a fight with my employees, oh if you're not aware, everything that belongs to my husband belongs to me. In that regard, you look too foolish to be his secretary. Hubby?" she burst into his screen doors. "Hubby?" she called.

Jeff who was on a call hung up and shut his eyes massaging his temples. "Okay, Amy what trouble this time?"

She didn't move from the door. "You were saying your company is on a rough patch, I think I found one of the problems."

Jeff lifted a brow lazily. "And it is?"

Amy smiled as she looked to her side to see the crowd and one cowering secretary. "Your secretary is too stupid; you should replace her with someone efficient."

"And who is that someone efficient?"

She hadn't thought of that, but her quick witty mind found a solution immediately "Jason's secretary is idle now that Jason rarely comes to the office, maybe you can switch?"

Jeff lifted his hands, he had guessed that she had made a scene already as he had overheard some of the exchange and to say he was kind of amused would be a lie, only that he was good at masking his emotions well. "As you wish."

Amy turned to the crowd still standing at the door ignoring the secretary who was almost in tears. "Don't your workers have important things to do than eavesdrop on conversations?" she asked.

The crowd quickly split and the secretary moved forward like a robot. Amy made way for her. "S-sir?" she stammered.

Amy coughed. "Why are you cowering now baby, I thought I was some bitch who got lucky?" she stopped the woman from speaking with her hand. "Save it, sweetheart, now I really would want to see how you'll insult and seduce the non-existent president." She gave the woman one of her charming smiles that had Jeff paralyzed for a second.

"You heard my wife, leave right now," Jeff said in a cold authoritative tone playing along.
