Chapter 71: Breakfast:

"Right, let's get some breakfast," exclaimed Mother as she hushed us all towards her palace. She had grabbed onto Father's hand whilst the four of us quickly followed behind.

"So Camilla, would you like me to introduce you to the rest of your brothers?" Brandon asked as I nodded even though I already knew all of them. "So, I'm your first brother Brandon Elijah Avery, the crown Prince of this kingdom. I'm 17. The taller one of all of us is your second brother Prince Christopher Elijah Avery, second in line to the throne. He's 15. And that one over there is your third brother Prince William Andrew Avery. He's 13 right now," explained Brandon as I nodded.

"Pleasure to meet all of you," I muttered, "How have you guys been all these years?". "Not good. Well we have all been brought up well. Father and Mother they've been struggling since you were kidnapped. Hopefully they can finally let everything go and live happily," announced Prince William as we all looked at the loving couple ahead of us. Hopefully...

We've finally reached the dining room in the Queen's palace. The food was being prepared as well. Father was seated at the head of the table with Mother, Prince Brandon on the right and the rest of us on the left. Well usually I would sit the furthest away from my father but seeing as how much he wanted me to sit next to him, I could only agree.

Not long later, the food had finally arrived. Everyone was given a set of cutlery wrapped in thick tissue. The sort of tissue you'll see in a high-class hotel. I looked around and noticed that they were all unwrapping the tissue and placing it on their lap. It was only here I realised that maybe it wasn't so bad to have been forced to learn table etiquette.

Prince Christopher must've noticed that I was doing the same action as him because his jaw dropped. I mean it was just basic table etiquette but compared to someone who hasn't learnt etiquette to someone who has learnt etiquette, it is quite surprising.

At this moment the door opened forcefully. Standing at the door was the Queen Dowager Helen Iva Kratos. The Princess of Kale Kingdom. A neighbouring kingdom. The birth mother of the King and Camilla's grandmother. She does not like Camilla as she believes that Camilla was just a low-born person who one day became a princess due to her luck.

Standing next to her was Lady Jasmine Nichole Avery. One of Camilla's favourite people. However, Camilla didn't know that it was Lady Jasmine who told her parents of her wrongdoings which made them hate Camilla even more. She hated Camilla as she felt that her daughters might be jeopardised if she arrived. Lady Jasmine is not the biological daughter of the Late King Callum Benjamin Avery and Queen Dowager. Hence, she wasn't given the title of Princess. Standing behind Lady Jasmine were her two daughters. Lady Lily-Anne Johnson and Lady Mary-Ann Johnson.

"Mother," muttered Father as he stood up and bowed. Although the king is the highest person in the country however filial is one of the most important things in the Theodo kingdom. Even Mother and brothers got up to greet the Queen dowager hence I could only follow.

The queen dowager walked over to me and looked me up and down. Because my head was down she could only use her hands to gently lift my head up. As she was looking at me I also looked at her. She had the same shade of eye colour as me.

"So similar," she whispered. "Mother, what do you mean?" father asked. The queen dowager turned her back and announced that it was a secret. "Camilla, from today onwards you must call me grandmother. Our Avery finally has a little princess after so many years," ordered the Queen dowager.

Ehh? Why was this not going according to the book? In the book, it stated that the Queen Dowager hated Camilla so much that she wasn't even allowed to call her grandmother. What was going on?

"Sit down everyone," ordered the Queen dowager as she proceeded to sit next to Prince William. She was sitting a seat away from me. Lady Jasmine and her two daughters were sitting next to the Queen dowager.

At this moment the maids came in bringing us breakfast. It was a typical English breakfast. On my plate, there were 2 slices of bacon, 2 fried eggs, 2 hash browns, and some beans. On another side plate, there were two slices of toasted bread with butter on the side.

"How is it, Camilla?" Father asked "Is the food suitable for your taste?" as I nodded. It's been so long since I've had a proper English breakfast.

Since the king began eating everyone could also eat. I picked up my knife and fork and began cutting the eggs and placing them in my mouth. I noticed that my mother who was sitting opposite me was watching my every move. I suppose she might be surprised to see that I was eating according to etiquette rules. One of the table manners rules was that you couldn't talk whilst you were eating so the whole room was silent as everyone was eating. You could only hear the occasional clinking of cutlery against the plates.
