Chapter 75: Amethyst Palace (2):

The palace was split into two wings. The left wing and the right wing. The right-wing was filled with the princess living stations. It included the princess's chamber, the princess's wardrobe, bathroom etc. It also included two rooms for her two personal maids and two personal knights.

The rest of the servants slept on the left wing on the bottom floor. The top floor was filled with the princess entertainment rooms. There was also a tea room where she could meet her friends. The music room was also on the top floor.

I opened the door towards my chamber room and gasped in shock. The room was extravagant. There were 2 doors on one side of the wall and another directly on the right of the wall. I wonder what these rooms are for.

There was also a double glassed window on the left of the bed. The windows couldn't open a lot in case something happened. There was also a purple curtain on both sides of the window.

In the middle of the room, there was a king-sized bed. It was the sort of bed that had two standings on the edge of the bed that held the curtains. There was also an arc above the bed to hold the curtains in place.

There were 2 parts to the curtain. The first part of the curtains was a purple silky material. This part of the curtain was meant to stop any bugs from entering my sleeping place. The second part of the curtain was golden and a thicker material this was to allow me to sleep more comfortably. It wouldn't let any light into the bed space.

The bed sheets were white with little flowers on the side of the sheet. The duvet cover was purple with golden patterns adorned onto it. The duvet was quite a thick cover so you wouldn't be cold in the winter. The head maid had explained I would be given a thinner cover if I was too hot when she noticed I was feeling the cover. I nodded in response.

I glanced around and noticed the room's wallpaper was decorated golden with all sorts of flowers decorated over it. It made the room quite colourful. The ceiling part was decorated in a midnight blue and little white things shaped like diamonds. It didn't really match the aesthetic of the room. The room was exactly my style.

Mother must've noticed my expression because she quickly asked me if there was anything I wanted to change in my room. "Can I change it?" I whispered. I heard her gasp in shock before she nodded very quickly. "What would you like to change?" the butler asked as he came forward with a notebook and pen.

"I would like to change the wallpaper. It's a bit too childish and it doesn't fit my style. Change the wallpaper so that it's like the one on the ceiling. I like looking at the stars when I can't sleep. So hopefully the wallpaper will help. Hmmm... the curtains on the bed stand aren't my style either. The silky light purple layer can stay I quite like that. Can you find a colour that matches the room wallpaper and the silky layer for the thicker curtain?" I asked as I noticed the butler noting down everything I said. He nodded in answer to my question.

"Change the duvet covers so that it matches the room's aesthetic. Also, change the mattress to a sort of softer one. It's too hard," I ordered "Is that possible to do?" the butler nodded. "I'll have it all done before you sleep tonight," muttered the butler as he excused himself to go and deal with my request.

"What do those two rooms lead to?" I asked curiously. "Those rooms lead to your personal's maids and personal guard's room," replied the head maid as I nodded. "And that room leads to your dressing room," mumbled Alice. She seems to be quite shy as we've only just met.
