Chapter 89: The Royal Magician (2):

Klein opened the door and announced "Your Majesty, Your Highness the Royal magician,". A man wearing a dark blue shirt with black trousers came right in. He had green hair and wore glasses. He was carrying a blue bag which I later found out had an expansion magic set on it. This meant that you could stuff a lot of things in there without the bag filling up. Behind him was a little girl around 12-13 years old.

"Greetings Your Majesty and Your Highnesses," the magician greeted whilst bowing. "Edgar please ease with the formalities," Mother commented, "And whose this?". Edgar turned towards the little girl that stood behind him and uttered "Your Majesty, this is my niece. Her parents have sadly passed away and she will be living with me from now. Her name is Adeline Mcgiven and she's 12 this year. I will personally teach her magic,". Mother and Father nodded in confirmation. If anyone were to live in the palace city Mother and Father must be notified first.

"Greetings Your Majesties and Your Highnesses," she chimed in. She looked quite short and malnourished for someone who was meant to be 12. She had dark brown hair with chestnut eyes. She looked quite cute. She was wearing a green dress with a white apron pattern at the front. "What a shame, such a young child," mumbled Mother.

"Right let's get down to business," mumbled Father as Edgar turned his head towards me. "Ahh, greetings Princess Camilla," he announced as I nodded back. "Wow, you do look quite like your mother apart from the eyes and the hair. You look exactly like her when she was a kid," he exclaimed. "Edgar you should be more humble. Do you really remember how I looked like when I was a kid?" chimed Mother. "Of course I do. You haven't changed much," he retorted whilst taking a look at me.

"Your Highness please place your hand on top of this stone," Edgar Mcgiven asked as I nodded. The stone was just a dark dull colour. It looked absolutely useless. Why am I putting my hand on it? As soon as my hand touched it a warm sensation filled my body. it was a very weird sensation. The rock changed colours into a dark blue. I looked at the Royal Magician in utter confusion.

The book did not mention this stone. The book hardly talked about anything about the royal family. Trials of Love followed Damian's story rather than mine. I suppose it makes sense that I won't know this plot.

"Princess Camilla, you are the first person to have gotten dark blue since the beginning of the Kratos kingdom," announced Edgar in shock and confusion. "What do you mean?" I asked whilst retracting my hand from the stone. The sensation immediately went away. Edgar turned towards my parents and asked, "Does the princess not know?" as they shook their heads. What don't I know?

"The reason we called you over here so hurriedly is because we realised that she seems to have some water powers," explained Father, "She was able to create a shield (out of water I suppose) when her life is in danger,". Edgar turned his head towards me and took his glasses off whilst asking "Would like to tell her or should I?".

Everyone looked at each other but nobody said anything. Hello? What the heck? What was it that they wanted to tell me? Did I have an illness or what? Can someone explain it to me? "So who gonna tell me?" I asked disrupting everyone glaring at each other. "I will do it," announced father.

"Klein," Father shouted towards his attendant. Klein opened the door and walked in "Yes Your Majesty," he asked. "Can you send someone to call Mother here? Tell her to hurry. It's important. Also, guard the door and don't let anyone else in," father ordered as Klein nodded.

Not long later grandmother had arrived.
