Camilla POV:
Damian walked over to me and stuck his hand out in a manner to ask me for a dance. "Camilla, care to do me the honours?" he asked. I raised my eyebrows but nodded. Since when was he so gentlemanly? "Can you even dance?" I retorted as he led me to the dance floor. "Of course I can," he muttered confidently.
I soon found out that he was quite a good dancer. I suppose Uncle Robert must have gotten him a teacher.
The music started and unlike before, a lot of people joined us on the dancefloor. "Princess focus on me," he muttered as we danced. "What do you mean I am," I retorted. "No, you are not. This whole evening you have been watching someone else. I'm not sure who it is but you haven't been enjoying your party at all. You've been acting very reserved. Not like your usual self. You should relax a little," he explained.
I suddenly realised he was right. It's my birthday ball, I should relax a little and don't just watch over Eveline. I mean the balcony incident won't happen until the last day of the ball. I smiled at him and as if a weight had rolled over my shoulders I finally began to dance more bolder and happier.
The song finished, Damian bowed and I curtsied. He led me back to the corner. "Still Ryan and Camilla's dance looks better," whispered Lexi to Lily-Anne. The two have become good friends today. "Nope, I'm standing for Camilla and Damian," she whispered. "What about you Emily what do you think?" Lexi asked. "While my opinion is biased but definitely Aiden and Camilla," Emily replied. "What exactly are you talking about?" I asked tapping the two on the back. "Nothing," they chorused, smiling at me. Whilst I looked at them suspiciously.
I did hear Ryan and Damina bickering but I'm not sure I know what's it about.
I decided to continue enjoying the banquet and be myself. I think the two realised that because they noticed that I had been smiling a lot more. I can start worrying on the third day of the banquet.

Damian POV:
Watching Ryan and her dance together just suddenly irritated me. His hand placement on her hip and all. The way they looked at each other. The way the crowd cheered for them. I even noticed His Majesty looking over at them smiling. Somehow that just irritated me. Especially with all the nobles talking about how good they look together.
Somehow that made me want to dance with her. I walked up to her and asked her to dance. I noticed Eveline was standing behind Miss Lily-Anne watching the two of us. But somehow I didn't care. It's fine it's not as if I won't be able to win Eveline over after. She might just be a little jealous from today. But it's okay.
I'm not sure why I said those things to her but it felt like the right thing to do in that moment. I led her back to the corner and heard the two discussing about us. "Camilla and I are just friends," I stated calmly, "I think her dance with Ryan was better,". "Why thanks, I'm glad to know you think that," Ryan retorted. We continued bickering. I'm not sure why I wanted to argue with him. But there was this gut feeling which made him not like him.

Eveline POV:
"I still think Aiden should end up with me," I muttered talking to Scarlett as I watched Princess Camilla dance with both Aiden and Damian. Scarlett seemed perfectly fine when she was dancing with Aiden however the moment she began dancing with Damina Scarlett looked very furious.
"For goodness sake. Stop thinking about Aiden. You and him won't come true. Maybe you should do something to win Damina over. Look at how he's loving dancing with Camilla. Omg," Scarlett mumbled on. The girl's just jealous. Those two look lovely together. "They look lovely together and besides Damian probably hasn't even noticed me yet," I announced lying through my teeth.
The way he looked at me, makes me feel weird. Was there a chance that he too came back? "Not a chance," Scarlettt muttered. "You really should stop reading my mind," I exclaimed as she aired me. "Damian's just attracted to you because of me. I said before Damian is Aaron's reincarnation and you are me. Aaron belonged to me so evidently he will be attracted to you," she announced. "To be honest Aaron didn't belong to you in the first place," I whispered, whenever we talked about this subject she would always get mad. And right on cue, she began arguing with me. God this was a never-ending argument.
