[Loki's POV]
Hello, Loki here.
Yeah, after four or so chapters I finally taken the POV again, but anyway currently we are transversing the air in the direction of the Forest of Idun and are currently taking our midnight snack for we are extremely bored and even though the back of Leon is broad, we can't exactly do whatever we wanted because Leon will surely be annoyed and we can't afford this arrogant Lion throwing his prideful fit at us in the middle of the godamn air right?
So right now we have no choice but to enjoy the breeze of the air as we munch on chips that was packed by Altair for the two of us and I can say that I am extremely grateful and blessed to have a subordinate who gives me chips, no, well that was quite the exaggeration for some chips, but as I was saying we have nothing to do and anything that can be done will do, so of course eating is also one of it right?
Enough of it for a few hours ago, my sister actually contacted me using the communication crystal that is of course not invented by me but one of the mechanics and researchers of the Technology and Blacksmithing Department of Valentine, well enough of that and let's continue.
Using the communication crystal or comm. crystal in short, Eris, my sister informed me about something that needs my attention or atleast needs my attention in the future.
Well, guess what it is? It seems like one of the simps of Lucifer was ordered by... Well, Lucifer and tried to infiltrate our Kingdom that have gone horribly wrong because the culprit didn't expected the queen herself to come for him.
And what's more? The one who tried to infiltrate the place is the most idiotic one in the Seven Sins, Leviathan of Envy, that one that can regress from a glorious serpent dragon into a little brat real quick and I bet that he messed up his plans because of that very reasons. Knowing who the person who was sent to infiltrate (though I am sure that Leviathan forced himself into it just to be useful to Lucifer), I immediately lost interest.
Well, I mean, if we are talking about a person in the deadly sins that can infiltrate efficiently, they have someone like Asmodeus of Lust... that is, due to certain reasons that I think you all already knew about, I also find it hard to detect her, she also has the foresight and insight that allows her to predict also any variable that can affect her missions no matter how low the probability of the variable actually being a hinderance.
You can say, that she is the Ophiuchus of Lucifer except for a fact that Asmodeus cannot fight using a physical weapon and mostly uses illusions and "techniques" that she forged as the one who represents the sin of lust, and what I am saying is that, it is more dangerous to be infiltrated by someone like Asmodeus who knows when to become flashy and become secretive while also knowing all the risk and taking measures of them and not Leviathan who just wants anything others have to be his possession or outright destroy something that he cannot posses.
Of course Leviathan is not an idiot, however he probably disregards variables that are actually not probable to become a hinderance and just there as an "unfortunate outcome" and have probability of atleast less than fifty percent of happening causing him to fail if it so happens that something he didn't considered seriously actually happened and he didn't have a proper counter measure for the predicament that is in the case of this failed infiltration is my sister personally coming fot the head of Leviathan, however there is the catch, my sister, she, the queen herself failed to end the life of Leviathan for the master of Leviathan, Lucifer actually saved his subordinate.
This part of the story really piqued my interest, I mean, who would expect the fallen angel of pride to actually save someone that cannot even follow his orders. Usually a Demon Lord will be like: "You have failed to fullfil your role as my tool, perish." Or something like that right? Furthermore because Lucifer have a lot of pride like I said earlier, he cannot risk a fight between him and another Ruler as it would result on him actually having difficulty with the fight risking his pride and arrogance that he is the strongest person of one of the strongest Races in the entire planet that's why, it is really interesting that he himself, and not someone in his bands of lunatics is the one who saved Leviathan in the doorways of his death.
Now, now I wonder what is that delusional world domination addict is up to that he needs someone who have force like Leviathan and have him go to the extent to risk a fight between him and my sister that I'm sure he is really avoiding because of the habit of my sister to ignore any attacks that comes to him except of course my attack because my bloodline magic is like the natural enemy of her bloodline magic, if her bloodline magic is "absolute defense" then mine is "unstoppable offense" and you know, we are like the opposite of each other.
But going back, with this, I can confirm that Lucifer is up to no good again, well I can't do anything right now because I am not in Valentine and currently in my way in retrieving my wife and saving my friend, but either way, that bastard Lucifer tried to infiltrate my turf and no matter what his messed up plans is, I will make sure to not make him have a good sleep after this and will make his ass burn every living moment of his life.
Anyway, thinking of those things I just simply said "Well, that was to be expected, the infiltration part but Lucifer's appearance is not... Well, I will deal with it later, so relax and rest with your maids (wink wink)"
And then hung up, I mean, yeah I can't do anything about that thing and my sister already cleaned up the mess so I think I am not needed there as of the moment and given that the other Rulers are more tamed, like the Dragon King that despite being the most powerful Ruler of this current generations of the Seven Rulers is a gentle giant, and Idun is obviously incapacitated right now and is also someone who will not attack Valentine for obvious reasons.
As I was thinking of something like those things, I noticed Altair's awkward stares, she will look at me while my field of vision is not in her direction and will revert her eyes away in which is I found uncomfortable so I immediately asked her.
"What is it."
She jolted and immediately straightened her back muttering something like "he noticed..." In which is, of course I ignored as I waited on her response about the reason of her awkward stares.
"Uhm... Well, if it's not too much to ask, can I ask... Uhm, what is this "ill fate between your wife and Idun-sama is...? Ah! It's not like I peeked into your conversation in the throne room or anything earlier this day okay!?"
She totally did, well in any case it seems like she is curious about why did I exactly almost snapped the moment I heard that Arachne is in the vicinity of Idun's territory and of course I wouldn't mind telling her the story of my wife, well of course there is her privacy but it's not like I'm doing this out of malicious intentions but because I want even just another person to understand my wife which is always being misunderstood.
And so, considering those things I started to tell the story.
The story of how, the Apex of the Insectoids and the Princess of Fairies, became two entities that should not exist at the same time.
