Dominic drove his car towards the highway, he went down every place Scarlett would have previously visited. Dominic got out of his car, he asked everyone who was in the restaurant where Scarlett was last time.
"Did you see this woman?" asked Dominic at one of the pasta restaurant waiters.
"Sure, sir. She's one of our customers. However, after eating here she left directly."
The maid explained the location of the last time Scarlett was. Then, Dominic rushed towards the park that Scarlett had visited. Dominic couldn't forgive himself at all if something happened to the poor woman.
[Where are you, Scarlett?]
Dominic glanced at the sidewalk that was slightly filled by pedestrians. He wished there was Scarlett there. But nil, his vision did not capture the figure of the woman.
"Gosh, you're giving me a headache," Dominic said, hitting the steering wheel.
I don't know why, but this time he felt that he had failed to take care of a woman. Although he didn't love Scarlett. But, he was in charge of bringing the woman to come to this city.
Dominic drove the car back, in search of Scarlett.

"Then do I have to be here until tomorrow?" Scarlett exhaled a rough breath, she didn't hold a penny at all. Let alone money, the mobile phone alone is also lost. And it's stupid why this bag is still with him.
[No one can help me here. In fact, if I ask for help, does anyone believe me?]
"Damn!!" yelled Scarlett. She hit both knees. Her stomach was a little hungry. It had been hours since she sat on a garden chair here. Staring at the passing human traffic with her partner.
[Huh... why don't I only have a partner?]
Scarlett was sick of staring at the romance of those young couples. We can say that Scarlett envied those women. They were so lucky to get such a sincere partner.
[Can I complain to the police about their disrespect in showing romance to single women like me?]
As if getting a hint, Scarlett patted her forehead. She just remembered if she could report the case of losing his wallet to the police officer.
[Argh ... stupid woman, why is it only now?]
Scarlett rushed towards the nearest police station. She reported the incident that happened to her. It could have been a few hours ago that she just stayed on a park bench without doing anything. She thought someone would be able to recognize her. She wasn't an influencer; it was just a woman who went viral because of the marriage, and it wasn't a proud thing because, at times like this, no one could help her.
In fact, when she planned to contact Dominic, she just remembered that her mobile phone was lost, as well as her wallet that disappeared out of nowhere.
[I'm sure it must be the man who ran into me just now who stole it. It's very suspicious.]
When she arrived at the police station, Scarlett asked the local police for help. Fortunately, their movements were fast. Coincidentally, the thief is also a fugitive that the police are looking for. When they got the green signal, they immediately rushed to find the thief.
Scarlett was ordered to remain in the police station. She had to wait in the next few hours. Although she was bored, she had to do it, anyway.
[It turns out that all countries have thieves too. Even a city known for its romance is prone to thieves.]
Scarlett sighed. She was tired. It feels like he really wants to lie down on such a spacious, soft bed. Especially when enjoying the splash of warm water that washes her body.
[I hope I can come back quickly.]
A policeman approached Scarlett, and she gave a packet of bread to Scarlett.
"Excuse me, miss. I want to give this to you," said a man in a police uniform.
"Oh, yes ... thank you, sir."
They also talked casually. In fact, this policeman is friendly. He also repeatedly made Scarlett laugh.
"You're so funny, sir."
"Ha... Ha... sure, I haven't chatted with a woman of your age for a long time. Especially after my son's death for the sexual abuse case he received."
"I'm sorry, sir," Scarlett retorted, looking at the middle-aged policeman.
"It's okay, miss. I look at you like my son, so I want to comfort you a little."
It's so a middle-aged cop. She loves her child so much, even though her child is already in a different world. The look in his eyes was so gentle and sincere.
"Your child. It's lucky to have a father like you."
"Thank you, miss."
The middle-aged policeman got up, wiping a little of tears that were in the corner of his eyes. He said goodbye to Scarlett to do her work, which had been delayed. From the man, too, Scarlett learned, if kindness is not only for those who are known alone. Rather, for all mankind around it. Scarlett felt fortunate that there were still people who were good to her.
Scarlett unwrapped the bread given by the police just now, and ate it quietly. "This bun is really delicious."
A few hours passed, when her body was too sore for too long to wait for the police. Eventually, the thief was found and Scarlett's things returned safely. And sure enough, according to Scarlett's guess, the man who stole her things was the man who ran into her just now.
"If there is any more problem, you can contact our police. Happy holidays, miss."
The policeman handed over Scarlett's belongings. I don't know how they caught the thief, but their performance was so good in a short period. And it deserves a thumbs up.
"Thank you, sir."
Scarlett said goodbye and looked for a taxi to return to her hotel. The journey was a little farther away until Scarlett chose to go to bed first. After all, this taxi driver has a route to get to the hotel where Scarlett is staying. So, Scarlett can sleep for a while.
After a half-hour journey, Scarlett arrived at a hotel where she was staying.
"Excuse me, miss. We've come to your route of travel," the driver said, waking Scarlett cautiously.
Feeling that her sleep was disturbed, Scarlett opened her eyes and felt uncomfortable with the taxi driver. Scarlett also rubbed her eyes and paid the driver some money.
"Thank you, sir," Scarlett said, after which she got out of the cab.
Scarlett held her flat stomach. She began to feel hungry, then chose to find the nearest restaurant in the hotel.

"Do I have to report this to the police?" Dominic tried to rethink. It had been hours that he was looking for Scarlett's whereabouts. However, neither found any bright spots. In fact, the people who were in this city, none of them saw Scarlett's existence.
[It seems that I have to go back. Tomorrow morning I will file a missing persons report with the police.]
Dominic drove his car in the direction of the hotel where he was staying. At a moderate speed, Dominic drove his car. Tuning in a piece of music didn't help him to calm down, either. Dominic didn't love Scarlett, but marrying her and bringing her to Italy was his responsibility as a man. It couldn't be like he was ignoring the safety of the woman.
After a few minutes' drive to the hotel, Dominic parked his car in a basement of the hotel and exited his hotel room. However, before that, he saw Scarlett's figure relaxing while enjoying a fast food in the restaurant.
[Scarlett....]
