Christmas lights glitter around Lotusville. Houses decorated for the jolly tidings. Tiny reindeer stand on various lawns. Candy canes line walkways while large light-up presents are placed around the trees of selected homes. As for streets like Market Place, lights are strewn across lamp-posts. The scenery is colorful and bright. However, there's a dark cloud looming over town.


Crash, for one, notices the change in the townsfolk. Within the past few days, he can sense a heavy presence. The people he sees tend to be caught in bitter moods despite the cheery season. 'Perhaps, it's the weather.' He suspects at first while noting the overcast sky. 'People need sunlight.' Periods of icy rain frequent the radar. Even with heaters, the townsfolk cannot seem to stay warm.


"Today's another cold, cold day!" The weatherman on TV announces while rubbing his arms. "With lows in the twenties, we may be seeing our coldest winter!"
