In the bathroom, Gareth stripped out of his clothes. He used the toilet, and all the time he was happy that he didn't have to be in the woods. He washed up with the trickle of water from the shower, and even though the water was cold, he didn't care. He was pleased to be able to use real soap and not a baby wipe from Rusty's pack. Never before did he appreciate his home with his electricity than on this crazy trip. He considered how much he appreciated Rusty as well. Gareth knew he wouldn't have been able to do any of this without the man in the other room. He brushed his teeth using another trickle from the tap and then toyed with getting dressed. A thick bathrobe was hanging on the back of the bathroom door. He borrowed that instead of putting on his dirty clothes. 


After he was wrapped in the fabric, he gathered his clothes and backpack and went into the living room.
