As Keyon gripped his handgun, he glanced around at the dead bodies on the dirty, trashed warehouse floor.
“We recovered the bomb that someone planned to place in your hotel,” Zane announced as the man strode up to his side. Zane was Keyon’s second and best guard. There were no doubts that the man could handle everything here, but something stopped Keyon from leaving now that the firefight was over. His gut twisted.
“We can keep the explosives,” Dan, one of his other bodyguards, added. “It’s a decent amount of C-4.”
Keyon eyed the shelves and the empty, tipped-over cartons on the dusty floor. The shootout here was noticeable. They might have to do extensive cleaning after removing the bodies. Bullet holes sprinkled one of the cement walls.
“The building is clear.” Zane’s eyes darted around after Keyon’s. “Do you want us to pack it up, Boss?”
