Chapter 99: On Keyon’s bed.

As soon as Keyon decreed that Huck would stay in his hotel, he turned to his laptop. After opening a messenger window for The Royalton, he began to type directions to his staff. They had an internal message system that went directly to the concierge. No matter the time, day or night, the manager checked here. Whatever Keyon wanted would be done.

“I’ll have everything set up for you. Go to the front desk. If you want or need anything, you can have it.”

“Paxton told me ‘bout yer hotel.”

When Huck spoke, Keyon’s eyes flipped back to the man on the screen. Huck hadn’t moved. Fuck. Keyon had no idea why sometimes Huck was easygoing and would do whatever he wanted, and then other times he was impossible.

The view around Huck didn’t change. Keyon wanted to groan out loud.

“All right.” Keyon sighed. “Talk.”
