Chapter 116: The end of Keyon's and Huck's story.

“With a love like this” was an old country music song that was released before Keyon was born. The lyrics were sappy and sentimental, and the singer, Texas Tim, had a thick southern accent that people had made fun of often.

Most people who knew country music knew the tune and trashed the song for being cheesy, but Keyon always liked the country ballad because of the lyrics and the guitar work.

He liked it before Huck sang it, but when Huck’s voice belted out the first word, Keyon crossed from liking the song to loving it.

“Let’s hold hands under the moon. And with a love like this, our mountain will play us a tune.” Huck sang deep and sexy and soft. Oh fuck. His accent dripped on Keyon’s skin. His boyfriend’s fingers danced over his guitar strings. The move caused all the hair on the back of his neck to stand up. “I hold everything when I hold ya in my arms. I’ve got all I’ll ever need, and yer my lucky charm.”
