Keyon sat at a long white table under tiny white lights. If someone had told him a year ago that one day, he would be at the Windy Ridge Event Center at his own wedding to a rough-and-tumble mountain man, Keyon would have shot that person and maybe even laughed. 


Now, he couldn’t imagine his life any other way. 


Next to his husband, Keyon watched the women of Huck’s band play their most famous song. They sang <em>In the Mountains </em>while all around the room the wedding guests sang along to the refrain. On the dance floor was Huck’s family and his friends laughing, talking, and cheering for the band. Tennessee and Paxton danced much too close to be appropriate. Gunner and Kit were whispering like children, and once again, Keyon liked Kit’s new suit. Rusty and Gareth drank beer from Mason jars, and near the stage was Cletus with his girlfriend, Ginger.
