Chapter Ten: Permission (Lucifer's POV)
This world really did have a beginning and eventually it will surely have an end. Wandering around like a roaring lion looking for who to devour so that they could perish with me when the day of my punishment will arrive as always been interesting until this creature was born. Loosing sight of her wasn't that easy. Wanting her dead as always been my plan since the very beginning but it looks like an evil spell has been casted upon me. I can't think straight neither do I have the mind to hurt 'The Little Angelica". I'm just so sick and tired. After my plan of using her, I have no other choice but to kill her or order her killed before things goes out of hand.
(pov Cancelled)
"Don't you think this is a bit strange? Nothing like this had ever happened for centuries but why now? Don't you think there's something hidden?" Raven reasoned has he bit his finger nail.
"What are you thinking Raven?" Lucifer asked curiously. Raven mind wasn't in his body right now as his head began to explore events as their dates played accordingly in his mind. There's got to be something!
"Listen Lucifer! I'm not as smart as you are but have you met this human Priestess one on one?" He doubtfully asked and Lucifer eyes narrowed against him.
"No? Why?" Lucifer raised an eyebrow. He couldn't fathom where Raven's question was leading but his mind could tell him that there is a great mystery behind it. He could sense it.
"We have been watching everything going on in the human land through The Eye but we haven't taken a glance at who this Human Priestess is. We very well know that the one being sent to the palace isn't the real priestess but she is just obeying orders from above. This Human Priestess or should I say, have something to do with your feelings. My hunch is that she too has a plan for Angelica. I'm thinking she wants to also use this Angelica for her selfish desire and that's why she is...." He took a long stare at Lucifer and then he heaved a sigh.
"Anyways, whoever she might be, keeping her identity away from the The Great Lucifer for sure is a powerful creature and a daring one of course.....No one has ever played tag with you since you were created on this earth. I guess every century that passes by, new and powerful creature come into existence. I can't help but worry about how you are going to execute your plan and kill this girl before she becomes a threat to you" Raven gave a rictus grin to Lucifer. Lucifer knew that smile was filled up with fears but he too couldn't help but wonder, why is every one after that helpless girl and what can she be to her Father and the Hidden Human Priestess?
"I've been long existing Raven and the only person who can take me away from this world is God. I betrayed him and only him can take my life." The God of silence finally spoke.
"I understand you Lucifer but you aren't the same. You are the King of Manipulation and the King of this earth and you are getting shaken by a little girl? Dude, Angelica isn't only a threat to someone like you but a threat to every evil creature. She can be the source of more power and everything anyone could ever wanted. Before anyone have the opportunity to take her away, we need to move first" Raven suggested and Lucifer smirked.
"Since when I've I ever started fighting for prey so that no one could snatch it away from me? I will get whatever I want and whenever I want. I know how to move about this and that Human Priestess you just talked about? I want you and your men to fish her out as soon as possible" Lucifer ordered. Raven could only pace back and forth fighting internally with his dilemma.
"How bout we start this game Angelica? I can't wait to make you my wedded wife and prey of course! I have this hide and seek game pretty interesting. My days of boredom are finally over!!" Murderous Light glimmered in Lucifer's eyeball as his dark aura went viral in the room, even the ancestral paintings could feel the chilling.

Angelica couldn't be any less happy about the permission her mother granted her this morning. She knew it wouldn't be an easy step but she had to take it. She wanted him at all means. She doesn't know what's so damn pulling about him but all she knew is that she wanted the man to be her beloved husband.
Descending down the stairs, Angelica caught sight with her mom and dad in a serious argument. It was rare seeing the both of them fight or throw words at each other. This really seem odd and Angelica wanted to know the reason of their argument.
"Why are you so wicked? Angelica wouldn't forgive you if she finds out what you are planning to do." Pamela spatted out.
"And I don't fucking care. She will never get angry at her father because if she finds out what am planning to do, she will give her life for my happiness. You very well know how much she loves me" Gerald pouted. Pamela gave him a menacing gaze, she didn't just know how to convince this man to change his evil plan against his daughter. Angelica never worth evil things, she's just an innocent girl who craves to be loved by people and now her own father is planning to kill her, sacrificing her blood to the gods to seek for more power and respect. For sure, he is the Second Lucifer, because only devil does evil!!
"An.....An... Angelica will marry Nicholas. I will make sure that happens even if it cause my life. Angelica likes Nicholas and I'm sure when they spend time together, he will learn to like her. I don't care what...what objections you have towards this but there is nothing you can do about it" she defiantly said and Nicholas opened his mouth to say something but he was temporarily dumbstruck.
"Pamela.... Nicholas is the Devil and you know what Devil's do. They don't get married, they don't know about the vows taken in marriage. He will only kill or better still torture our daughter. He can't marry her....p...pls don't let her marry him" His forehead was puckered as he said lowly as his hands were trembling behind his back.
"Hold it right there Old man, I don't care if he is the devil and what are you anyway? You are appeasing the gods, therefore you are serving the devil who appears to be Nicholas himself. You are part of the devil descendant and don't play like a good father, because you don't want your plan to be destroyed and that's why you don't want her to marry Nicholas. You can't see the devil and We can't say that the Devil is "Nicholas". I don't care about you and see if I care" Pamela hissed and was about to step away when she saw Angelica with tears rolling down her eyes. She had been listening to their conversation for a while and she looks deeply hurt. What was going to happen now?
