The Girl in the Black Summer Hat

Sitting silently staring out the window.

Her blue eyes merging with the grey atmosphere outside the clanging, moving bus.

A black summer hat yet doused in blue.

Why blue?

It seems her soul resonates with the cornflower November skies.

Blink.

She walks along the mist rolling fields. How dull it must be, her eyes fading away in the distance. Leaving a heavy blue presence in each step.

The red leaves falling becoming a purple and drowning into a blue in her cobalt-coloured presence.

Blink.

Train rattling as she once again stares out the window. A tiffany-blue tint. Watching the passing houses made of purple-blue bricks as the sky becomes a deep blue as the sun sets serenely in the distance.

Blink.

The midnight blue sky.

She walks along the street.

Graceful.

It's as if she's unaware of the glowing ultramarine glow around her in the dark blue night. She continues walking.

Continues walking through this blue world which she graces.
