Dark Aura

After leaving Fuji's house, Aoki retried to video call the Pokemon Center and this time the video call connected.

Misty was informed about Aoki's actions, especially the reason so many people were alive bringing tears to her eyes.

She rebuked Aoki for being reckless and not caring for himself but was glad that he was safe.

Aoki narrated the toned-down version of the incident not to freak her out and keep her out of trouble.

Misty clicked a Pokeball and a Yellow Pokemon came out of it and hugged Misty.

"Where did you get a Psyduck from? " Aoki asked

"There was an old woman who passed away and had a Psyduck.

He now had no trainer so nurse Joy allowed me to have him" Misty said, petting the Psyduck.

"Psyducks are hard to raise but when they evolve to Golduck, they become very powerful.

Be ready to work extra hard for him" Aoki said recalling information about Psyducks.

"Sure. Wait for me in Lavender town, I will be there by tomorrow morning. Bye !"

Aoki hung up the call and went towards the forest and sat down under a tree.

'Now tell me about Dark Aura'

Darkrai came out of his shadow and floated beside him.

[Unlike a normal aura that is visible by an aura guardian, the aura of darkness can be only seen or felt by you so no one will know if you are using it but someone with enough mastery over the aura would only see that you are using a normal aura.

Exceptions are Pokemon like me who can sense aura and energy of chaos]

Aoki clenched his fists and a black flame-like cloak developed his fists.

He could feel that his stamina had increased several folds along with a sense of power.

He punched the ground and weblike cracks started forming.

"Woah I didn't expect a casual punch to hold this much power," Aoki said amazed by the power behind the punch.

Aoki could feel as if he had developed a natural detection ability as he could sense everything around him up to a certain distance even with his eyes closed.

'Seems like my reincarnation gave me a very strong soul that is why I am able to use Dark aura.

"What else can I do ?" Aoki asked.

"From what I know, know your aura has increased the growth rate of your companions and continues to do so the more control you get.

Normally Pokemons have a limiter to their growth but with Dark aura, that limiter holds no limit.

To get the direct benefit of Dark Aura, your companions must have a mental familiarity with you.

The passive effect works on humans too, increasing their stamina and will a bit.

The reason your companions grew so strong in a short span of time is due to this.

If you can connect with your Pokemons like when you did back in the fight with Gengar, they will gain a temporary boost in power which can increase depending upon your mastery.

"n addition to this, it gives them high regeneration power during that period due to which they managed to survive the battle

You are now immune to mental attacks from psychic people but not immune from psychic Pokemon till you get enough control"

You can use your aura to make people more comfortable or even attracted to you.

But remember you cannot use too much aura or your life force will be drained" Darkrai said.

"So Darkrai, currently how strong are you. ? Can you form your own dimension? " Aoki asked.

"Currently my energy is at peak master rank but my mastery over energy and moves are at the bottom. I even forgot about what some of my powers used to be. As long as I don't gain a satisfactory level of mastery I cannot touch the aspect of space, teleportation, and dimensions. " Darkrai said.

"Don't worry about that. Now that you are my partner I will help you regain your previous strength back or may even make you stronger. Currently what moves can you use?"

"Yes, with a dark aura it will be faster. I can use Dark Tendrils, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Disable, Haze, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Dark void, Sucker punch, and Foul Play"

"Well, that's a lot of good moves, I will help you remaster them.

I was curious about one thing, why do you know about modern terms like the moves names and elite rank, etc. "

Aoki searched his bag and took out a small stone.

"I brought it from somewhere. It was found underground with fossils " Aoki said.

"That mega stone is now linked to your ket stone," said Darkrai touching it.

"And from the energy I can perceive, it belongs to a rock-type Pokemon. I don't think you have a rock-type Pokemon with you so you have to wait for that"

Aoki took out an ultra ball and asked Darkrai to touch it. " With this, you will be my official partner" Darkrai didn't hesitate and clicked the Pokeball to enter it.

Aoki now had a mythical Pokemon on his side.

'It was worth the risk I guess '

'Time to meet everyone' Aoki released all his Pokemons along with Darkrai.

"Yo everyone, seems like everyone was fine, " said Aoki nervously but the second he was tackled to the ground by all his Pokemons except Gyarados as he didn't want to make a paste out of him.

When Aoki connected his life force with everyone, they were aware of what was happening through their link.

" What were you thinking master doing something like that !! Don't do something like that ever again !!!" Clefairy cried out with everyone agreeing with her. She was so happy to see her master and everyone alive.

"Don't cry, we survived right? Moreover, as your trainer, it's my responsibility to make sure that you all are safe " Aoki said patting Clefairy's head.

Clefairy pointed her finger to Darkrai and said " It's your fault too. You better take responsibility and be of master's use"

Darkrai's blue eyes scanned everyone's expression.

'A good bond'

"Yes, I will do everything to protect Aoki from now on "

Aoki suddenly came to a realization. " Wait a minute, I can understand what all of you are saying without telepathy from Clefairy ".

Everyone turned their heads toward Aoki in surprise.

"Another benefit of aura that I forgot to mention about, " Darkrai said.
