After a short reunion after a near-death battle, Aoki assessed every Pokemon one by one.
Every Pokemon had received a boost in power and energy control with their total energy and energy density increasing especially Clefairy.
He assigned some short energy training to everyone to get used to their new energy levels which he trained to control his aura under Darkrai.
The training went on for two hours making Aoki get more used to the use of aura.
Under Darkrai's guide, he somewhat learned to maintain a cloak of aura around him which will make him react faster and make himself appear friendly to wild Pokemon.
The exercise was very exhausting and left Aoki gasping for air.
"I think it's time for one of you to evolve, " said Aoki looking at Bagon.
Aoki wanted to evolve Clefairy and Nidorino too but he wanted them to spend some more time getting used to master rank.
He wanted them to reach their limits in thier evolution stage before going to the next stage.
He had some high-quality moonstones along with the one from Darkrai so there was a chance that they would enter elite rank directly.
Bagon became happy while others were a bit disappointed but happy for him.
Bagon stopped holding back the evolution and his body got enveloped in bright light.
Just like always, Aoki was hit with a wave of tiredness but this time, he knew the reason for tiredness.
His Pokemon absorb the aura he emits passively but during the evolution process, the absorption rate increases many folds.
"Go near him and subject more of your Aura Just as I instructed earlier"
Within the light, the structure of Bagon started expanding as the dragon fang that he was holding was completely used up.
Aoki felt his energy decreasing at a rapid rate.
He stopped the link as he sensed that it would be enough.
Chameleon and Gyarados who were waiting for the evolution felt something in their instinct was telling them to release their dragon-type energy at evolving Bagon.
Charmeleon used Dragon Breath while Gyarados used Dragon rage at Bagon which turned the white light to bluish purple.
Woosh!
The purple light faded in the form of a shockwave and in front of everyone was a newly evolved Shelgon.
A quadrupedal Pokemon standing at a height of 1.8 meter came into view.
A hard bone-like structure covered his entire body with openings for limbs, tail, and front from which two yellow eyes were visible.
His mouth had seemingly disappeared making everyone wonder how he was going to eat.
Boom!
The newly evolved Shelgon released his pure dense dragon energy that was at the peak of master rank.
Shelgon, Charmeleon, and Gyarados looked at each other and roared followed by the use of a move at the same time.
"What is happening? " Aoki was confused
"Instincts of a Dragon. A sort of greeting " answered Darkrai
Charmeleon used Dragon breath, Gyarados Dragon Rage, and Shelgon used Dragon pulse.
Boom!
An explosion rang out as the three dragon-type moves collided.
"Clefairy use a barrier"
A box transparent box enveloped the explosion made from psychic and fairy-type energy preventing further destruction.
As the explosion faded, the three Pokemon burst out into laughter as more everyone surrounded Shelgon to congratulate him.
"What happened to the dragon fang? " asked Aoki
"I completely absorbed it " rang out a voice from the front opening of Shelgon.
Aoki once called Shelgon back to his Pokeball and took the reading with his Pokedex.

Shegon seemed to have learned four new moves which were all strong, especially Dragon Rush and Hydro Pump.
Due to the mastery of Dark-type energy, Shelgon had evolved Bite to Crunch which had a chance to flinch the opponent.
Every time Aoki sees the power of the Pokedex, he gets amazed. This device accurately guesses what Pokemon is in the Pokeball, its energy level, gender, and most of the moves by scanning the Pokemon's brain and matching it with the database.
But it sometimes does mistakes in calculating energy levels and moves. It can only show moves that the Pokemon has the most mastery on. The rest of the moves are custom input by Aoki.
The main catch is that Pokedex only works for Pokemon that have been caught and researched to upload the move sets. Pokemon like HO-OH and Darkrai will show no results in the Pokedex.
Aoki tested something and took out some poke blocks for Shelgon to replenish her energy.
Instead of eating the Pokeblock, the poke blocks turned to powder and the energy from it was absorbed by Shelgon.
"Nooooo, I cannot eat master's tasty food anymore!! I only have to survive by absorbing energy from the food "
"Still childish even after evolution " Aoki was helpless.
Darkrai tasted the Pokeblocks and he liked them so much that he ate the entire box in one go.
"More! I have never eaten something so good " Darkrai said.
All the Pokemon burst out laughing seeing Darkrai.
'Another one bites the dust 'thought Clefairy

The next morning Misty met with Aoki.
He gave her a long tight hug.
From being worried about her life to nearly losing his life…these hours were not simple.
If not for Mew and Darkrai he would have been dead.
His world had completely changed in the last few hours.
"Seems like you have completely recovered, " Aoki said
"How can I not, I have a lot to get well for"
