(Tiernan’s P.O.V)
Pain. That’s all I could think about was the pain that was radiating throughout my body, blinding me, making me want to vomit. I couldn’t hear anything going on around me, the ringing in my ears was all I could hear until I heard her scream. Siobhan. Her scream was feral, a mate losing her mate bond, losing her other half.
No. I can’t die. I won’t die.
I’m thrown into a blackness that was so dense that I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face if I even tried. My body felt like it was floating and falling all at the same time, and I couldn’t place where I was going if I was even going anywhere. The sensation of falling stops and the darkness begins to lighten, a scene of a field with wildflowers and honeysuckle is spread out before me.
Siobhan.
