That was the simple answer he read from her mind and it spiked his anger. He was never one to easily get angry but he got infuriated.
"I think we need to talk Mae, seems like you experienced a lot of things." He tried to sound calm but it bothered him.
"I did Sir Dylan and you don't want to hear about them."
She refused to speak about it and it made his curiosity pique even more.
She looked away so he wouldn't be able to read into her mind.
"Do you still want my blood?" She asked while staring ahead with a blank look.
"I want you to talk to me." He probed and she looked at him with a surprised look but she was smart enough to push every thought aside and focus on the present.
"Your eyes are still red Sir Dylan."
She let him know but he didn't mind it. What bothered him was her innocence.
"You saved my life Sir Dylan, if you take my blood then I'll happily tell you about my past."
