31 The journey 2

"Lu Forest",said Zheng.

"Lu Forest, where's that?"asked Shang

"it's after Zhao's dungeon. And you know even before reaching the dungeon,it's going to be hard. It takes lots of strength, courage,capacity to reach and pass through there. it's a deadly place- Zhao dungeon", explained Zheng. He knew the consequences and effects of passing through Zhao dungeon. A place where folks avoids.

"Everyone knows that, Zheng. What did you do there?"asked Cheng as he narrowed his eyes. He absolutely knew that Zheng had been there before.

"me? nothing. Just like you said, everyone knows that. It's history", replied Zheng as he controlled his thoughts so Cheng wouldn't hear.

"Lie. Don't stress yourself,I can still hear you but I'm blocking it because I want to hear from your mouth."said Cheng.

"well,it was at that time when I was so eager in saving Le. Back then, Enchantress asked me to get a plant from Lu Forest in order to save Chang Le." Stated Zheng,not finishing the story because they were fully aware of what happened next.

"We never knew. You never told us Zheng",said Shang annoyed.

"I didn't want to bother you guys. You both did lots of things for me that I appreciate till date. Though I regret not telling you both but the deed has been done,so.."muttered Zheng. Underneath his words,one did know he was sad. He didn't lie when he said he regretted not asking for their help.

Back then,he thought he could do it all alone. It was just a plant,so he thought he could find it without help but he was wrong. Though he knew the story of the Zhao dungeon,he cared less back then and all in his mind was saving his sister. But when he got to the dungeon,he regretted not bringing his saviours along. Even the soldiers he brought along lost their lives. And when he was able to pass through the dungeon and headed for Lu Forest with the two guards that survived with him,it was already too late. When he found the plant he was looking for and when he returned to the palace,he met his sister's cold body. She was dead.

"How are we going to get there?you can come with us though",said Shang.

"I will give you a map but me coming with you guys is a no no case. It's a dangerous journey. You can leave the lady here and come for her if you survive."

"Leave the lady here?so she can become your meal?no way."Replied Cheng irritatedly. He really wanted to smash Zheng's head against the hard wall.

"Whatever!just make sure you guys don't die. I'm off to my room",said Zheng and walked away in a calm step with his head raised up and he reeked of arrogance.

Both Cheng and Shang discussed their moves. They planned of how they were going to pass through Zhao dungeon without dieing. They might be a Demon but that didn't mean they couldn't get hurt. They even thought maybe Succubus was dieing somewhere around there.

In the Lycans land,the leader who captured Succubus rushed down the corridors in fast steps as he hurried to see the visitor. He reached his room and a man was sitting at the head table with two guards in black robeon their body. The man screamed danger. The leader was shaking already as he stared at the Emperor. The leader of the werewolves. The master of them all. Their controller.

"Emperor",he said and bowed. The Emperor spared him just a glance and took hold of the cup and sipped the wine. The rice wine tasted sweet in his mouth and his smile drew wide. He spoke afterwards, "where's the Demon?"

"She's here,Your majesty. is her presence needed?"asked the Leader.

"Are you questioning me?how dare you?"said the Emperor and banged his fist in the table angrily.

"I dare not your majesty",said the leader and directed his men to bring the girl.

Succubus was dragged out of the room where she was kept and brought forward towards the Emperor and was pushed onto the hard floor. She bruised her knee and hissed in pain. She raised her head to complain and froze at the sight that bestowed her eyes.

Sitting on the head table was a man,a very handsome man. It wasn't surprising that he was old because he was actually. Though it wasn't visible as age hasn't taken a toil on him but she knew he was. A very old man who probably had lived more than history. This was the kind of men she liked. She will just drain his energy so as to sustain herself. Men like him surely had energy just like the Monks who had cultivated all their lives.

The man stood up in glory and walked up to succubus,he crouched to her level and held her chin, looking straight into her eyes. Not doubt,she was a Demon. "I'm very handsome and I know,you shouldn't stare too much",he said which made Succubus chuckle.

"You are a very old man. Though you are handsome,I don't care. I simply care about the energy I will drain from you",said Succubus.

The man chuckled, "Succubus",he said.

"So you know me?"said Succubus.

"It's not hard to. Only Demon Succubus,the seductress drains men's energy."he said.

"Then you surely know so much about we Demons. And im so fascinated. You can even stop our powers from working,jeez,so much advancement. I wonder how it would even be in more years to come",said Succubus.

"Don't be so surprised. You haven't even seen anything yet,little Seductress. I could have made you showcased your skills to me but no way would I let a Demon seduce me",he said and rose to his feet. His servant brought the chair and made him sit on it,with the wine glass in his hand as he stared at Succubus.

Cheng,Shang and Jasmine left the Vampires Empire and headed for Zhao dungeon. Jasmine who has been briefed about what they might face when they get there couldn't help but shiver. It seemed as if,the were just getting started. And they just did.

With the map in Shang's hand and the necessities which they didn't take with them before,was provided to them by Zheng. The journey to Lu Forest won't be an easy task and they were aware. They had to survive.

With the horses they were deprived of earlier,they were also provided with such. They used their feets to reach there before but now that they had everything,the journey will be easier and faster.
