"Min",screamed Cheng. "Look at me,Min",said Cheng and Jasmine looked at him. Cheng stared at her chest that the arrow was stucked in and placed his hand trying to compress the blood. Jasmine flinched in pain. The rest came to her side, crouching down to her level and looking at her with worry gaze.
Jasmine smiled as she saw them looking at her. She thought in her mind if dieing here was going to make her return to her world or she returning to the modern world. Or maybe a parallel universe. "I'm fine",said Min
"You ain't",said Shang with tears in his eyes. Looking at the little doll of his,the doll that he had seen grown into a pretty, little lady.
"Come,let me heal you", muttered Nimune
"With what?Demons don't have the ability to heal",said Succubus who literally didn't know what to feel at the moment. She didn't know whether she should be happy that the one that was stealing her Cheng's affection was dieing or she should be sad as one or her saviours was dieing.
"Herbs will",said Nimune and pulled out some things from her pouch. "You see this...'' the
Cheng cut her off by saying, "do the damn thing Nimune and stop wasting time."
Jasmine raised her hand and looked at Cheng and said, "I didn't get to the you things about me yet." She raised her hands and trailed her fingers on his face. She had never gotten the chance to do this.
"Hang in there,so you can tell me,hmm. Everything,and I will listen",Cheng said and Jasmine smiled. "I should have gotten injured earlier,maybe you would have showed me all this care and affection",stated Jasmine.
"Stay put,Min. I need a pieces of oth to clean the blood",said Nimune and Shang tore his sleeve.
"We are going to pull the arrow",said Nimune
"I don't think she's going to make it",shouted Succubus. "She has lost lots of blood."
"We pull the arrow now or never",said Nimune and they all came together. With Cheng trying his best to compress the blood and Nimune who had torn Jasmine's dress and placed the piece of cloth that Shang handed to her,using it to wipe the blood. Shang and Succubus held the arrow and immediately,they pulled it out.
Jasmine felt pains all over her body and as she tried to open her eyes,it was a little bit difficult. She had the sound of something beeping and immediately,her eyes fluttered open. She looked at her surroundings and knew she was in the hospital. She thought of how she got there until she remembered what happened. Earlier,the arrow was pulled from her chest and she felt her heart stop. The others literally didn't notice because Nimune was truly going to save her. Nimune was like a sorcerer who knew lots of things,though treating one wasn't what she was supposed to know how to,she knew though. She herself knew she wasn't supposed to die but it seemed as if,her time was near in that world. It was time for her to leave there. She had died in that world.
The door suddenly opened and someone who looked slightly haggard entered. Jasmine looked at Fu Cheng and wondered what had happened for him to look this way. Cheng seeing that the girl was awake rushed to her side instantly and spoke happily, "you are awake. Thank goodness." He pressed a button and the doctor with few nurses entered.
"Can you see me,Miss Ambrose?",asked the Doctor,to which Jasmine nodded her head.
"How many fingers are this?"he said showing her four fingers of his.
Jasmine then had this smirk on her face and said to the Doctor, "ten." Everyone were shocked. It seemed like she wasn't still feeling well and still having a concussion.
The Doctor then turned to the nurse giving diagnosis,before facing Cheng. "We are going to watch over..."
"I'm totally fine Doctor",said Jasmine, interrupting the Doctor.
"You aren't,Miss Jasmine."
"I am. I was only pulling your legs earlier ok.?you showed me just four fingers",stated Jasmine and the doctor looked at her doubtfully.
"That's Fu Cheng,my one and only crush. Pretty love of mine and I'm Jasmine Ambrose,18.years and will be 19 soon. I stay with Cheng,is this proof enough?"said Jasmine.
"More than enough,Jasmine",said Cheng and the Doctor stared at him to which he pointed at the door,indicating him to get out and also asking the Nurses to get someone to bring food for Jasmine.
After they all left,Jasmine raised her body from the bed,to which Cheng assisted her. "What happened?his did I get here?"asked Jasmine as she didn't understand how she ended up here. The last time she was here,she had fainted after seeing him in his Demon form. But it didn't mean she would have landed in the hospital with aching body.
"You don't remember?"asked Cheng. "Should I call the doctor?I don't think you are fine." said Cheng worriedly.
"Stop. Just tell me what happened."
"After we saved Succubus,you were shot and fell from the building",said Cheng
"Wait,what?we saved Succubus here?". Jasmine literally couldn't believe what was happening. She died when she was in the olden era. The ancient time and it was then, Succubus was saved. It was as if,the story was continuing from where it stopped. Before it wasn't like that. Now,it seemed like the continuation was happening but if she was among those that saved Succubus then what of Min. Back at the ancient time,she was Min but here,she's her own self so how was everything pulled.
"Yup",said Cheng and the door opened revealing Shang who walked in with a smile and behind him was Succubus,Nimune and Min. She and Min hadn't ever liked each other and then she and Succubus. It's like in this time,she had two rivals but she didn't care abóut that at the moment,what she cared about right now was how she ended up joining them in finding Succubus.
