When Jasmine was discharged,she went to Cheng's place with Shang who treated her like glass. She knew Shang had always treasured Min but she was no Min here as there was the real Min. She was her own self. She even saw Nuan and was glad to see her and after pulling her into a hug with the others staring at her differently,she realized that she and Nuan weren't friends as Nuan was Mina's friend.
"Are you okay?"asked Cheng
"Yup."
"Come let me take you to your room,get some rest",said Fu Cheng as he assisted her into her room.
The next morning,the others arrived and they all were seated in the cushions,with Jasmine staring at them. "Ok,can someone explain what's going on?I know we saved Succubus but that chick over there wasn't included",said Jasmine while pointing at Min.
"What can I say?even after near death experience,you are still a bitch",stated Mina.
"We both are bitches,Motherf-"
"Can you guys just shut up?"interjected Nimune.
"Jasmine",called Cheng and looked at her. "I know that you are confused but we can't help you if you don't tell us what is happening with you",said Cheng
"Nothing is happening to me. It's you guys. I just dont-"
"Jasmine?"called softly,Shang
"Look guys,I have memory loss and I can't remember Mina ever joining us in the search",said Jasmine but in her mind she said, "or,it's me never ever joining them."
"Let's explain what truly happened to her",spoke Succubus
"Succubus",called out angrily,Cheng.
"What's happening?"
"Look Jasmine,you were never involved in the search. You never followed them when they were searching for me as you were still unconscious after fainting that night."said Succubus
"I knew it", said Jasmine in her mind
"After they rescued me,you just appeared put of nowhere and was shot immediately,where you appeared from?we never knew",stated Succubus
"Wait,what?I don't know what to say." Said Jasmine. Though she understood why she wasn't among them,but she didn't understand why the story has to continue from this junction. She literally thought it would continue from where she fainted but it did and when she woke up,found herself in the hospital,she thought she joined them.
"I know you ain't from here",spoke Nimune. "You knew succubus and I, immediately we entered. And you even know Shang whom you've never seen."
"Yeah,I know you all are Demons. Is Mina also a Demon?"asked Jasmine
"yes,I am", Replied Mina.
"I think it's high time,you explain the shit that's happened girl",said Shang angrily and that scared Jasmine. Wasn't he caring for her earlier?she thought,did she even think of anything,aish
"And if I don't,what are you going to do?"questioned Jasmine
Immediately,Shang rushed to meet Jasmine took her by the neck,staring at her as he had already changed into his Demon form. "You can't scare me bro,I've seen you and Cheng in your form,so it's ain't frightening to me",smiled while saying this words,Jasmine
"Leave her Shang",said Cheng and Shang complied instantly.
"Come here",said Cheng and Jasmine went to stay with Cheng. "You guys can leave now,I'll take it from here."
When everyone left,it remained just Cheng and Jasmine in the house. Jasmine sighed in relief as the investigators had left remaining just she and Cheng. She turned to look at Cheng before she then heard him say, "you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
"I ain't telling you before",said Jasmine and Cheng laughed.
"Anything you are interested in doing?"
"Yes", replied Jasmine
"What?"
"Reading supernatural books,can you get one for me!"
"Yes."
"Thanks."
When Cheng left to get her books,Jaz sat and thought,there was a possibility that the olden era where she had come from few days back was running just like this place was when she left. She just hopes things didn't get out of hands as she didn't know what was going on again. Everything,was making her head explode.
When Cheng returned,Jasmine busied herself with reading while Cheng worked and made phone calls.
"She's dangerous",said the person at the other side of the line.
"She's not",said Cheng
"Do you like her?cause I can see the way you stare at her",said the person
"It's not your concern,so mind yourself",said Cheng.
"What of Mina?you know she had always loved you",said Shang. Shang did will always be the supporter of Mina's love life,as he knew she loved their friend.
"Don't forget to submit the proposal-"
"Don't you dare try to change-" Beep,beep. The line was cut off and Shang hardened his jaw.
Nuan walked up to him and said, "What's wrong?"
"It's Cheng."
"What did he do this time?",aksd Nuan as she laughed lightly.
"It seems like he likes that white girl. What of Mina?he knew her before meeting that chick. She loved him since beginning but he never stared at her. He's such a fucker",complained Shang
"You should mind your business,Babe",said Nuan
"What?"
"Yes,you should. They both are adults and can choose who to be with.. Mina likes Cheng but Cheng likes Jasmine. It doesn't mean that he must be with Mina just because they know each other for do long. So,are you with me because you've known me for so long now?"said Nuan.
"Wait, what?No!I'm with you because I love you." said Shang
"That's it,Cheng will be with who he loves."
"But what of Mina,it won't be fair on her side"
"Nothing is fair in this life, all my girl will have to do,is move on."
"Ok, enough of them,so?"said Shang
"So?"asked Nuan teasingly.
"You know what I'm talking about"

"I don't",replied Nuan before running off with Shang chasing her from behind and soon,laughter filled the house.
