68 - Metallurgy, Forge.

While the Heron's Tower floated within the Atlas Halo its form incomplete in the eyes of everyone but mine while it phased itself, existing between the dimensions currently existing I was already looking away forgetting it for now.

Every little piece set could not be completed thoroughly at least not instantly the way I wanted. If it was possible I would have long created everything and gotten it over with. But considering my slow growth of divinity which was more thanks to the beings I had formed around me and the little foundation gotten from Fiarin, I had atleast come this far.

DIVINITY - 100,820 / 170820 units

I still had a lot of divinity for what should be my current project. Of course, I had already long been at work for it. But its presence couldn't be finished until I made the last piece.

The last piece being Heron's Tower. More important the Eye of Erlezos currently unspotted by all but me atop the great mount of the Pagoda which was unperceived without authorization.

Pulling up my creator panel I slid through all my creation files ignoring the various body shapes and specimens that I had already designed before landing on the last piece of what I needed.

The design was exquisite. Without further ado, I began the finishing touches. It was like a spaceship but large, larger than what Dustroz once was. The spherical shape of the construct was obvious, with see-through glass panes all over it. The size greatly shamed any planet I had yet to form. At least that was the idea except for the new icon I had on the screen flaring a red light.

I had set an indicator calculating how much divinity would be used to create something after seeing how much the Pagoda cost. As such the construct was clearly showing whooping millions in divinity to create this thing.

"That's just too much". I complained. Even as a god getting my own home was still difficult.

[You Can Reduce The Size And Make It Bonded To You. Like Morgado To Velces]

" How exactly would that help.?."

[Setting It As A Bound Would Mean It Grow With You. For Every Power Boost You Make So Does It. So I Think Starting Small Is Good. You Can Always Modify It To And Give It More Features As It Grows]

"That would work?" i asked still disappointed and unsure.

[Indeed]

" Very well".Without pausing I quickly did as he said shrinking the size to one that would be enough to hold my 21ft form. The cost was visibly reduced making me smile wryly. While it was okay now I would still be making several little upgrades over time.

I adjusted the top of the smooth exterior making the shape roughly spherical but not too smooth. Thereby creating space for several attachments. While the width and height were wrought at the moment the length was nothing to scoff at. With its body running long like a metallic serpent. The top was covered by several peeking metal slabs to form the exterior of a hard exoskeleton.

I paused. Why was I giving it an exoskeleton? It felt more like me creating a war machine than a home. which was weird. A feeling in me told me I was right but I couldn't grasp the why.

Thinking it had something to do with the god knowledge I seemingly couldn't tap into I decode to confirm if there was any such information requiring me to create a battleship in the guise of a home.

[Just Continue. Focus On One Problem. Some things are hazy for even me. Too Deep To Dig. ]

I sighed before continuing yet I had this nagging feeling within me. No, it wasn't my feeling, well it was, kind of off. I Just Felt Like There Was A Lie.

It felt annoying like the feeling had when I wasn't the one doing something I wanted to do.

"That feeling again". I mumble. Everyone hated being controlled or being indirectly influenced to do something or the other. It was never a great feeling.

[Knock It Off. I Doubt There Is Anything Such As Fate Not Created By Us. And If There Is Indeed Something out There Better Than Us. Well, Something More Than Countless All-fathers And Older Gods Then We'll Handle It Then. ]

[So in the meantime stop worrying...]

"About what isn't there yet. " I nodded in acceptance.

"You'd make a better All-father than me. All knowing and wise yet annoying. Feels weird but thanks Berus"

[I was enjoying the compliment then he made it weird]

[Wait. Berus!. Don't tell me...]

"Yup suits you"

[You mother.....]

"Language. Kids around"

[....]

With a grin, I continued designing the spaceship, ignoring his ramblings. I created a new tab and here designed crude-looking rotors. Then an engine of sorts that would be powered by stars.

I designed the interior of my home adding several segments to it. For the time being the segments would be enough and as I grew the ship would grow as well.

I attached the design of the rotors and the engine to the ship while forming tube holes that would release the inner steam from the ship. At this point the spherical head of the ship made the entire thing look like a tadpole. With a grimace, I added several tiny legs that made it look like a centipede.

[ERROR - CONSTRUCT> REQUIRES> PARTS]

The words flashed on the screen over the design blueprint in red. Creasing my eyebrows I wondered what this was.

"What's this now? Why would it require parts? Something like the pagoda didn't require parts and it's big."I going myself asking Berus. The lazy me in my head that claimed to have a lot to do released a sigh before speaking.

[The Pagoda Is More Cost Efficient, Though You Inscribed The Rules On It You Never Activated Them. If Not Well, You'd Be Regretting It Now.]

"Okay but I'm still not understanding what that had to do with this."

[Both Heron's Tower and this new design are both constructs. But from head to tail the Heron's tower is made up of one material from head to toe. Transmutation done out of your will is easier since it just applies to the amount. ]

[As For This Design. You Can't Use One Material For It Obviously, You Can Either Transmit The Different Parts Separately And Them Weld Them Together Or Just Forge Out Each Material From The Stars. ]

"Which would be easier. Or more rewarding?"

[Transmutated metal. Orichaculum, Adamantine, Emperia Oz, Davstung, and the strongest Vnth Ember. You can always transmute out all these ores forge them into parts for the ship or even better mix some parts with the other or with better-attuned star ores. Wait...]Berus paused talking for a moment. I furrowed my brows before a sting like an ant bite was felt in my mind.

[METALLURGY SYNCHRONIZED]

[BLACKSMITH SYNCHRONIZED]

[There. You're All Set]

"That's a lot" I mumbled hissing as the sting faded and got replaced by a whole hoard of information that just like before I understood. I realized a certain truth in Berus's claims. For some reason, the knowledge was there but I couldn't access it, at least totally. It was like knowing the basics in a textbook without delving deeper.

"Forward all this to Velces"

[He already knows]

"What. How?"

[You Made Him A God Of The Forge. A God Of Forge Can't Exactly Forge Without This Knowledge. ]

"Does that mean each aspect or factor I register with a god will automatically grant them the required skills and knowledge for it.."

[You Knew This Already Right? I Mean You Weren't Expecting A Forge God To Forge Without Knowing How To Handle Everything. ]

I kept silent. I had indeed assumed that the gods would just slowly adapt but now I thought of it was stupid. Being gods should make them unknowing at least in their fields.

"I guess I'll just start forging the parts now. Heheh" I chuckled while evading the topic at that point.

[Moron]

Ignoring Berus I quickly scammed the blueprint before realizing which metal would be suited for the different parts. Though some parts required metals not listed among the divine metal. I could substitute with either mithril or some star's ore.

"Divine metal ranks please," I asked.

[ORICHACULUM - Divine rare

ADAMANTINE - Divine epic

EMPERIA OZ - Divine legendary

DAVSTUNG - Divine mythical

VNTH EMBER - Divine Celestial. ]

"That means the Heron's tower was made of Davstung." Not necessarily. The metal in a way affects the construct's grade but its auctions and abilities do too.

"If that's so shouldn't the Tower be higher?" I asked perplexed

[Activate it and see]

"You're saying that I activated its already at divine mythical. But if activated it could go beyond?. I'll be damned.". I muttered.

Quickly I descended to the earth slab where everyone waited watching. Pulling Velces away I pulled out the schematics of the ship I wanted to build. At least the different parts, not the full ship. Once done I quickly transmuted a ton of metals out of nothing. The beauty of divinity.

Several metals dropped to the floor with bangs huge and sizeable. Just creating a huge lump of Vnth Ember for crafting the inner skeleton of the ship dumped my entire divinity down to four digits.

Vnth Metal sure was expensive to create. Looking to Velces I had him begin the construction of the skeleton. I'd come to help from time to time while also supplying him with more metals when my divinity regenerated. For the moment I had other things to do. My eyes shot to the silent pagoda. Its looming form glides beside Dusroz. Its peak is dormant for the moment like the rest of the doors. At least for now.
