71 - Morningstars, Antilife's Move.

Erizos and Gerasmine stood atop a formed humongous rock in the locked space now separated from the Unknown outside the dimensional walls. The process and all had been completed already to connect this realm to Neverfalls. All that was left was completing its design and then adding one The Broken Star here.

"Let's get to work." Erizos wasn't slow to get down to business once all was secure. With a thought, he pulled up his creation module and whisked out his brush. Creator's Odyssey settled in his grasp nicely making him feel like a veteran painter about to make the Monalisa.

With an exhale he made a glance at the design on his module and the process began. Like earlier everything was sucked out and into the brush bristles. Then with a stroke, while turning in all directions whilst making sure to avoid Gerasmine by walking around her he sent out his divinity.

Everything took form and then shape just as did earlier while Gerasmine watched awed as materials formed from nothing. There were materials like floating debris and other stuff not that it helped much but still the space wasn't empty.

It took a few moments before everything finally arranged itself and the design was no longer on screen but in front of him. A grin stretched ear to ear on his face while he wiggled his fingers resetting some things here and there. By the time he was done, he turned to Gerasmine all smiles. Yet the frown and the cold look the female Titan had on her wiped off his smiles.

"What is this?" her tone frosty. It was something Erizos found weird since she had nothing to do with the cold. Yet looking back at the realm he just completed tweaking he couldn't help but see why she would be alarmed or angry here.

After all, it wasn't every day a former human turned deity, turned goddess would find herself looking into a realm such as this. Hell even Erizos would never have expected to be looking at such a place if he was still alive in his former life. Yet he was its designer and creator. Fate could be fickle at times.

First was the sky. Unlike the first realm, it was a black sky. Not dark, black. Without the other features, no idea if a sky existed could be noted. Four bright stars shone from four distant corners each having a different glow while situated within runes. The northern star glowed red, the southern violet, the western star was indigo, and the eastern green.

There was no sea. Just land. The only source of light was the bright stars that might have been called suns but was nowhere near one. The realm was dark yet dimly lit like a full moon night.

Streams of black liquid that released a sort of steam flowed across many different terrains either in form of brooks, streams, lakes, or oceans. Whichever the liquid flowed as it was always black and oozing white vapor. Most land parts were separated by this black stream and a few volcanoes were littered about the realm constantly spewing lava and gas into the atmosphere.

The gas though didn't go any farther up as it seemed to mingle with the black sky. Only by getting closer to the sky would one realize that the sky wasn't a sky. The entire sky was consumed by a black fire burning silently. The four stars in the four directions were the only bright gases unaffected by the flames.

The Broken Star was etched dimly into the center of the sky yet it remained unseen consumed by the fire yet existing. On the ground itself, there were withered pale blue trees in some parts of the realm, and other parts had healthy purple trees with black leaves.

Seeing all of this he looked back to Gerasmine with a sigh and mutter.

"There has to always be balance Gerasmine. There can't be day without night and that's why I'll be calling this place the Morningstar Realm. Cause it'll bring light to the eyes of those who can't see it".

Gerasmine frowned even more. Her mind couldn't seemingly understand why there had to be darkness. So she asked.

" How can you see the light, when there is no darkness? Or appreciate its beauty without its ugliness."Erizos answer stunned not just her, even Berus and himself were surprised.

"I've been in the dark for longer than even I can remember. All I could see was darkness. Nothing more. If my creation comes to look down upon their peace and their stability and their light. Then.." Erizos looked back at her. His last words were left unsaid but his mind was already being slowly made up.

While he wasn't going to just let darkness wreck the worlds he created he more than anyone knew that struggles were what made mortals strive to move further. Especially humans.

He had been debating it since his last conversation with Berus about order and chaos and already knew what he had to do about it.

Farther beyond far away in the darkness where there was no light nor sun, no galaxy in sight for quite the distance. Here a large body of black creatures, abominations more preferably called shuttled themselves past at a terrifying speed.

There were all kinds in different shapes, sizes, and probably species too. From tentacled ones to bipedal and fanged. Even larger whale-like or triple-sized creatures could be seen. All of them shuttling within a horde of blackness that consumed through the bead and kept on rolling past.

This was where the last checkpoint in Erizos region was. Where his 4th wall should have been. Alas, he already shut it down during Duztros mutation and completely forgot to put it back up.

The life-seeking creatures always on the move and great detectors of all that bore life had gotten a whiff of this location from so far away. Like a tide, they had rushed over. The bead at this checkpoint emitted its last glow right before it was consumed by an anti-life fragment. It proved to them that they were on the right part.

Above the horde of creatures, an even larger thing moved. Its gigantic body swayed in space as it swam over the advancing horde. Its maws were full of several razor-like teeth that were eager to tear and rend whatever life it came across. A high-pitched screech or roar escaped its jaws the intensity vibrating the area around it.

Like a declaration, the thing as well as the smaller ones kept moving forward. Their high speed bringing them closer and closer to the

distant lights that increased their appetite and hooked them to the anticipation of a meal.

A screech resounded and the entire force moved. Things were about to get heated. The first divine war was already here.
