84 - Woes of a Forge God, Rewards.

Velces was somewhere quiet, somewhere hot and also somewhere he wasn't just untouchable in but got more buffs to his aspect and more.

The white flames of Duztros burned brightly to him but hot for anyone else. Morgado pounding at intervals on the pieces of materials that were slowly forming the skeleton of the huge behemoth that towered over him.

It had been a few days since he had abandoned his own forge at the slab relocating his activities onto the surface of Duztros core. Not something just anyone could do.

His reasons being that just pumping fire into the materials given to him by his father wouldn't cut it especially for the Vnth Ember and Emperia Oz. One was sturdy and strong the other malleable and smooth.

Combining both to create a perfect alloy for the skeleton was harder than he thought. It was mostly with Berus help that he had come this far in the craft.

By reducing the ratio of each metal he had managed slightly to reforge a new alloy that he called Erudite which kept the malleability of the Emperia Oz. It gave a flexible feel when bent letting the skeleton turn and bend in ways normal ships would not be able to.

Lot of days had passed already in which Velces had succeeded in crafting the entire skeletons of each one of them. As expected the skeleton was even bigger than him and the current size of Erizos.

They were almost one-third the size of a planet like Earth.

Velces attached a bead of gold to the center of each of the skeletons watching as the bead broke down into various light spots and dissolved into the skeleton.

The skeleton glowed momentarily before a prompt appeared in his vision.

[Growth Feature Administered]

Nodding he flew away from the now complete skeleton and back to his forge as he grabbed another material.

The familiar black and malleable metal Davstung. While it was malleable it wasn't to the flexible range of the Emperia Oz which he used for the alloy with Vnth Ember.

Taking the Davstung, Velces used it and the Emperia Oz to form yet another alloy. This one he called Aroslite due to the black surface of the Davstung that showed no in the alloy.

The new malleable metal became the skin for the skeleton. Continuously pounding away while reforging and making new alloys Velces barely realized how time flew.

He kept reshaping the metals to different sizes and shapes for the various angles and sides before fixing them to their spots one by one.

Building eight different ships wasn't as easy as it sounded. Skipping the already built skeletons he had to made the various parts for the skin or body.

Each part couldn't be made with the same metal. Some parts had to be sturdier and stiff, others flexible, yet still capable of withstanding various factors.

Said factors had been listed for him on his mission prompt.

So of course Velcrs had to forge various parts separately. The parts for the body, the parts for the tail length. The parts for the head and the sides.

Luckily the ship wouldn't have any sort of added appendage or something like that. It was just a sleek smooth long beast of metal.

It took him white the number of days to assemble the various parts for it all but by the time it was all done he realized that even gods could get exhausted.

"At least the first part is all done" he muttered in a croak. The god of fire and sun felt like he needed water. Ridiculous.

Yet that was exactly how tired he felt.

Still unknown to him his body was already adapting. Just like humans who could get better and adapt and grow through various strenuous activities or exercises the same could be said for higher beings like them too.

His muscular form grew even more, his torso getting very more ripped, his arms firmer and stronger from all the swinging he was doing with the very heavy Morgado.

By the time he had completed the first eight ships and entered into building the next item he had lost all his boyish charms and looked more rugged than before.

Such was the first of constructing divine equipment or tech. Lesser beings would have had it worse, either being unable to keep up or losing their vitality to the work.

Not just from the best of the forge but from the radiation emitted from the stars and the various heated and melted metals.

After pulling the ships out of Duztros gravitational range he abandoned them to float in space outside.

"I've made them. Not my business what happens after." He murmured as he received the prompt for the completed mission.

Yet his joy or satisfaction was no where to be seen as he glared at the second part of his task.

If building the ships had been tasking then this very mission was the worse.

"Good thing I decided to complete the ships first. This one will take when longer". He complained.

" Better get my rewards for the first mission first."

Completely ignoring the repeatable part of the prompt he locked his sights on the rewards part.

Receive rewards - [Y/N]

"Yes".

The prompt disappeared as a flash of gold appeared in front of him. Using his divine eyes he was able to sense the divine rules that shimmered right before a card appeared floating in air.

It was white and gold with a numeric engraving above to the left topmost corner.

The black engraving depicted ten lines in a row of two. Five above and five below. The entire card itself was white while the eye symbol was golden with a border rectangle of gold at the edges of the card.

Taking the card he watched as a new prompt registered to him.

[Conscription Merit Token]

Use x1

Use x2

"Use 1 . Better to see what I get before I use up both tokens".

The card dissipated in a flash of light motes as quickly as his statement ended. At first nothing happened Then he watched as the space in front of him twisted. It was like the sea slowly creating a whirlpool.

Then a figure stepped out. Then another and another and another. Then countless number of them leaped out of the whirlpool before finally it ended when the whirlpool disappeared.

In front of him stood a hundred of them. All tall, all black as the space outside Duztros. The center of their chest were white with a glow that wasn't as visible due to the brightness of Duztros white glare.

" What the void are you all?" Looking intently at one a new prompt shone in his eyes.

---------------------------------------------------------

"It seems father made something new" He wondered before he scanned them more intently.

Only an All-father could see the various imdept racial and trait descriptions of his creations. For the other gods they could almost see the ability info and others of their lesser. For themselves they could only see their names and depending on their strength the rank and body form.

So for Velces he could now only see the information of the, Azkolves Heralds and below. The Azkolves though while being Divine Neasts were not as strong due to not having accumulated enough order cores to grow before his birth.

If the could grow faster before the birth of the other gods then they would be more stronger in terms of body and only need to get the reverence to grow their divinity. Something that would be later.

---------------------------------------------------------

Hoid - The adaptation of the Kerhinis devour trait. Not only improving on it but also regressing it. Any attacks to the Eternal can be devoured but unlike the Kershinis can't use to adapt. Having no effect on them.

---------------------------------------------------------

"That's. That.." thinking about the current words Berus had taught him he found the correct one. " ...overpowered.".

---------------------------------------------------------

Zyphor manipulation - Use and control of the processed energy within the source core of an Eternal.

---------------------------------------------------------

"This doesn't say much. But I doubt father would make something bland." shrugging he moved to the next ability.

After reading it he couldn't help but choke on literal nothing.

---------------------------------------------------------

Spatiality - An ability that breaks the rules of the multiverse. Unless specifically stopped by the All-father all forms of spatial use are unhidden to the Eternals.

---------------------------------------------------------

"Aish. Dad had better not let Juju see this. He's gonna be so pissed." Velces sighed as he stared at it.

"Anyway doesn't matter. What matters is..." a grin lit up his face as he glanced at all the Eternals floating with him. For some reason the Eternals all felt a chill in their bones. If they had any.

Without wait Velces quickly mobilized everyone. Separating the Eternals into teams he began teaching them how to do various things.

Slowly but surely he integrated the new creations into his work.

"With them I cam work faster and not be too tired". Looking out of the sun's zone he found the man still scrolling through his module as he had a palm to his chin. Four eyes constantly flickering up and down.

" Thanks for considering us". he muttered.

To him Erizos had made the Eternals to aid them all in their different assignments. If there had been a doubt about it getting them just after completing the first mission was obvious enough.

Erizos of course didn't realized that his aim to increase to his fighters and creations that would get him more divine points had been misinterpreted.

Even of he did he would obviously not correct it.

The unassured boosts in divinity from beings who's reverence he already had was rare.

Of course if he saw that the beings he made for war were used as construction workers he might have been stumped. Alas even soldiers would build.

As Velces watched the continuous activities of the horned beings he smiled. He loved this reward.

Even more he smiled at what this all entailed. Why. It was simply because of the new addition to his status.
