95 - Goddess Of Life And Death

'Nether Realm'.

It was one thought. One thought that showed Erizos what multiversal authority looked like. The ground atmosphere shook and the ground rumbled. Tears in space could be detected or seen as lines of rupturing appeared. Some looking like sword slices and others like cracked glass.

Little by little the realm kept shaking and the atmosphere kept taking a beating. Any faster and both realms would explode from the reaction. So slowly and patiently he pulled the two together.

In his mind all he saw was two planes of reality getting joined together but physically to beings like Taumune who watched and who were unable to use their divinity to note the happenings could only see the realm shaking and shifting.

Mountains and trees trembled. Fissures appearing on the ground and disappearing sporadically. It was like the entire environment was unsure on what to look like.

To the distance the lands extended with more coming into view as the realm increased in size. At the center of the realm a grand castlelike tower of proportions grew out. It rose high and towered into the sky halting only after it had gotten incomprehensibly huge and tall. Its familiar spires attempting to stab the sky with its peak.

A black liquid cut it off on both sides like an island. Then there was the circular crevice that formed around the roots of Taumune. At first empty but would soon be filled with liquid.

But below the tree itself a pool formed. A lake in actuality, large enough for humans to swim in and even for his current self to wade into. The waters of Calharra that would be the first point in birth or rebirth.

It was the only major change that would happen even after conjoining both realms. The moon hung to the left side of the sky shining over the wasted land where the withered trees that formed The Broken Stars stood on the Sands of time.

[A/N - Look to chapter 76 for actual look of the Nether realm.]

Now Taumune stood at the very center of the garden of Calharra. With the crevice at it's roots.

Finally the rumbling settled a bit and everything was revealed. Taumune could only shake her leaves in a bit of awe and fear.

"Now for the main business." Erizos shot into the sky flying straight for the tall tower that was yet to be named. Reaching it in a blink the dark fog that was formed by the black liquid of the land of the morningstars parted to let him in.

Not that it would affect him. But no use trying uselessly. Flying through a window like a thief and down, he landed right in the center of the hall.

Gone was the pool that he once placed there. What was now present were two doors one leading out to the west where the wasteland, sands of time lay. The other led to the East where the garden of Calharra and Taumune stood.

One door was black and shadowed the other golden and green a symbol for life. It was obvious what each door signified but it wasn't up to him to decide who got to go where.

That would bw left to ...

His hand, which he seemed to love waving a lot moved. In his grasp lay the ichor of the earth titan. It floated up and hovered while a space split by his side. From within shot out a black ball of light. As big as the floating ball of Ichor.

This ball shot to the floating ball and began making rounds around it. It seemed eager to devour the ichor but kept to itself almost like it was always keeping an eye on Erizos.

A chuckle escaped him as he watched the lights antics.

"Tou can have it. Its for you anyway." He urged it on. The black ball shook with what was obviously glee and elation before smashing into the ichor with speed that would rival any Erizos had seen. It wasn't taking the chance that Erizos changed his mind suddenly.

"Uh oh. you shouldn't have". He sighed as he took a step back. The thing just consumed ten drops of supreme grade ichor. If it was sentient it would be cursing but it wasn't so all that could be seen was the light cracking and shaking. The blackness within it twitched and flinched non-stop.

Gerasmine was a goddess of the earth. Like Berus said, she understood life more than Erizos. After all life came from the earth, plants and organisms came from the earth.

It was this life that was threatening to devour the death element that resided within the light. A light born from the manifestations of a divine rule that Erizos made when creating the Nether realm.

Gerasmine's blood was that vicious. Being able to threaten a divine rule. Though at its smallest form. Both were arguably at their smallest forms though.

Either way Erizos wasn't about to sit back and watch his hard work get snuffed out by Gerasmine.

Damas came to the light again. The blood that had done more impossibilities than could be counted. Ten drops of it flew out his fingertip and shot into the battle. Like a mediator it went to work.

X10 ICHOR DROPS

X10 DAMAS DROPS

DEATH CORE

Gerasmine while not being a goddess of life represented it quite well thanks to her earth aspect. So it was no surprise that it would react to death in such a way.

Luckily what was Damas. A blood that could make divinity and order stand side by side.

It wasn't long before a blob of two colors hovered calmly like a chastised child. One side neither white nor black. Mixed yet separate.

[leave it to our blood to confuse things] Berus grumbled. He was actively annoyed that he couldn't yet understand anything about the Damas.

Ignoring his grouchy other self Erizos moved to the next stage. What was the next stage. The god scratched his skull as he tried to remember how he made Velces again.

[Check your notes Author.]

'Ah right '

Effectively due to the death core unlike with Velces Gerasmine's ichor and the death core had reforged a new core of life and death. As such what was left was adding the divinity.

100 UNITS OF DIVINITY

Erizos hadn't added any order cores or chaos fragments. His blood was already saturated with the order a bit. Which actually left him worried as to the effects on the coming being.

Order worked with life and chaos for death. But since his order was greater then would it affect ... 'NVM'.

He went silent at seeing the order expelled from her body.

[So It Reduced The Amount Of Order In Her To Match With The Chaos?] Berus questioned.

[Erizos. Important Quest. I Need A Body. Then I Need You Strapped To A Bed For Dissecting. This Is INSANE]

[Makes sense, but still insane].

Ignoring Berus yet again Erizos made the final designs before setting the usual parameters and automatic individuality. Then setting the last divine rule and authority he finished it.

CREATE.

Many would say that being a creator Erizos should not tag some other god as one of life and death. After all only he could create.

But that that was besides the point. By creating a god of life and death Erizos effectively stripped the rest of the gods off their authority over the lives and deaths of the mortals that would be under them.

The last thing he needed was a mortal cursing at a very annoyed god only to have its life snuffed out with a snap. In reverse a mortal could pray and its god with a snap could have a loved one awakened from the clutches of death severely unbalancing things.

It was best to leave the authority to one being. Of course there were rules that the being had to follow to not abuse its authority but in the end only it could decided on the lives and deaths of mortals.

This was what led to the currently forming female in front of him. Whilst incomplete he could already note one feature that was very dominant and eye catching.

Three horns rising from her head. It parted her hair at the sides and back. Though instead of pointing outwards like normal horns the all weaved inwards to meet at the center above her skull where the broke out into various tiny twig shapes that twisted and spun till the crested a crown of horns atop her head.

White hair flowed from her head to her back and two heterochromatic eyes one white without irises and the other totally black cornea all woth no pupil or iris in sight. As eerie as she looked her face was one of otherworldly beauty.

"She is a divine. Beauty should be normal" Erizos muttered to himself. Her body was lithe and curvy at the right places.

The formation completed leaving her standing there eyes fixed on Erizos with a cold glance.

[Ooh. She's a cold one. Hehe . That's what you get from automating their individuality.]

*********

Facepalm.

Looking at the cold female who stared at me for a while I shrugged before turning deciding to ignore her.

"Father!!" a high pitched scream came from behind me shocking my spirit. Sorry my divinity.

Looking back stunned I watched as this cold girl, at least she was supposed to be rushed at me with speed.

"Father. Father . You . You left me" the girl cried out with literal waterworks.

[I didn't see that coming]

'Uh huh'.

Unsure on how to react with this girl I just nodded then with a shrug I made a hand wave for her to follow. As I walked through the realm I headed straight for Taumune who's leaves shook in greeting as I neared.
