98 - Birth of the seven Godchains (2)

Spherical, black, and tiny. Quite inconspicuous and easily missed. That's what the female noted about the ball floating eerily a few meters off the ground. It exuded an aura that prickled the hairs on her skin. Released a dominance that pressed upon her very being.

She felt herself drawn to it. The black ball swirled as it pulled at her mentally. Slowly, step by step cautious yet unhesitant she ambered forward. Fingers outstretched heart pounding. A thrill not from danger but from excitement. An excitement gods rarely had.

With each step, her mind spun and weaved various imaginations of what lay beyond, what realm or dimension she would be sent to.

Finally, her fingers touched the rift in reality and everything darkened. Then the base of the cliff shuddered.

The treants shook with fear as a shockwave tore through the environment. In its oath trees and rocks, everything that dared bar its move was mowed down.

Within the former lake base lying on her back with shivers running down her body like an electrocuted human in the throes of the aftershocks lay the goddess. Each shock and shiver of her body was accompanied by a flicker within the lids of her closed eyes. Her lips set in a straight line while her fists folded up as her body was racked by pain.

Whatever it was that was happening was something she couldn't handle lightly. Yet her lips managed to move. A single word slipping out quiet enough t to not be heard by loud enough to not be missed by those close enough.

"Authority".

MITAWAS - TAUMUNE'S MOUNTAIN

Erizos groaned as the fourth sibling made their debut. Just like the third, there was no wait and no intention to let them flaunt their looks or anything.

She cat walked out of the misty haze of gold that was left off from the creation. Hips swayed like a pendulum as her legs carried her ever gracefully to stand right by her three elder brothers.

Her body was a golden-toned metallic skin of feathers and scales. An eagle's head with azure pupils stared calmly at her father. Long arms that ended in fingers with white talons. Legs that ran for days. An hourglass shape with two huge wings that stretched out behind her.

Unlike expected the wings were normal. Just larger and longer but still the traditional feathered wings. The appendages that ran from her shoulders were golden. The feathers themselves were white with bits of smoldering energy running along the surface illuminating the white wings from within like veins.

With a screech, she announced her presence before her human feet halted her right by the boys. Gerasmine found herself moving slightly, already eager to meet her new daughter. Yet who said the runway walk was over?

A roar shook the mountain they all stood on startling the earth goddess as she could feel the tremors it caused in the land they stood on. Erizos himself simply smiled as he stared at the haze of silvery and purple smoke clearing away from the sound waves of the roar.

This new sibling didn't make any movement to near the others. Not that it needed to. From all their spots they could clearly see the beast god that was their sibling. With Seven heads atop long necks, the black creature was quite menacing to look at. Each maw created a puff of smoke as it growled out showcasing razor-sharp fangs while white eyes stared from one being to the other.

Its gaze kept shifting as it flapped its humongous wings while it wrapped a spiky tail around a root of Taumune's. Once its gaze found Erizos it halted and then snarled. Six limbs carried this creature forward as it finally decided to move. Its tail uncurled from the root it had gripped and its claw dug into the soil as it marched forward.

Compared to the towering Erizos the seven-headed beast was little. All of them were little infact. The beast finally bypassed its siblings sparing them no attention as it came right to Erizos feet. Its fangs were hidden now its look more puppyish than aggressive. Here it made a low bow before curling in on itself. Yet it was the next thing that shocked Erizos.

'This lowly one greets father'.

Stunned. That's what he was. One had to know that after the events of the Chaos knight Erizos has surmised that the gods needed to use divinity to contact each other mentally or telepathically. Permanent use of divinity.

Yet here was this little one speaking into his head. How?.

Yet Erizos wasn't allowed to question or continue marveling as the next sibling popped up.

This one made Gerasmine smile and her eyes widen. "So cute" the words slipped out her mouth without realizing it. Erizos could only nod his head in affirmation. To get Gerasmine's hands off most of the creations of the other he had let her do as much as she pleased to one.

The unlucky or perhaps lucky goddess had been this one. She resembled a small child, about eight or nine by human standards. Though her size was nothing human if compared. Two ponytails of blue hair sat atop her hair. A dimpled cute face. A flowery gown and three sets of translucent butterfly-looking wings flapped behind her. Green eyes mirrored Gerasmine's and a sharp jaw that obviously came from her father's features.

"You went all out on her didn't you" Erizos commented pulled in by this one's cuteness.

"I'm gonna call her...".

BOOM.

The mountain. shook. A flash occurred in the environment and then followed by yet another clap.

" The last of them" his eyes cut to tbe final haze that was clearing up faster than its counterparts. Crackles of white could be seen within as a figure manifested.

If the others had their quirks and strangeness. Then this one balanced them all. If the others were like characters from another world. Well. Then this one was as normal as anyone could be. As long as one could ignore the blazing golden hair and clear ocean eyes. The muscular tight figure clad in a golden apparel.

There was a slight flash and in a blur that was fast to all but Erizos eyes, she appeared by the rest. Gerasmine barely saw her move only managing to slightly keep up. That was how fast the last child had been.

With a grin stretching ear to ear Erizos made a snap of his fingers. Behind him, a gate spawned from nothing out of which flew two bodies. Both striking the ground softly.

The male his hair on fire and his hands clenched to his long hammer looked around for a second only to relax a bit. The other a female with two divided segments of colored hair black and white and a ring of horns stood dusting herself before glaring at the culprit and then looking away.

Velces didn't even bother glaring. The eldest of the children just made a swift glance around before nodding and walking over to stand by the right hand of his father. Erizos nodded to Velces and turned to the other child. Calharra noting this simply sighed before walking to stand by her father's left-hand side.

Only then did Erizos speak. Eyes fixed on the newly created gods his lips moved and each of the seven fell to their knees or other limbs depending, while trashing and shrieking in pain.

"The Godchains".
