118 - I thought I was the only female

A very funny and somehow annoying thing was happening. Depends on who's perspective it was happening from. To Amor it was annoying. The reason simply because she just started Attack on Titans and now she got dragged out of her realm. Why?. For a match that didn't even concern her. Her eyes kept moving to the cause of this entire situation.

Funnily the culprit though older in a sense still avoided her gaze like a guilty criminal.

The gods after Eth'elas' stunt much to Erizos and Berus' amusement had finally started thinking out of the box. There was Noctis who kept silent as he watched the proceedings in both realms. All realms to be exact. Who said angels and demons were the only races present now?

Every race was in existence except some specific races that Erizos refused to put in realms. The races that were already created were the realm dwellers, and each race had already gotten an individual with a boon from one of them.

They could only choose one individual from a race and specie and whatever boon was given had to be different from the one given to a prior chosen race. Not like that was a problem as most times the boons were made to suit the racial feature of the chosen one.

All the gods had already chosen one or two or in Hanare's case a lot of them. Velces had only two chosen. Both being fire attributed but of different races. One a flame elemental and the other a Phoenix.

Only Noctis, Amor, and Quintapazzuri were yet to have a chosen and for the first, he was mostly lazy or not interested. For the second and third nothing was more important than anime and books.

At least until Eth'ela went and named a demon. Now even Quintapazzuri was interested but mostly because of the valuable information that she could glean from this event.

Amor still didn't care more interested in glaring at Eth'ela for causing a ripple that reached her. Noctis though. The lazy bum was just interested in noting the difference between a named chosen and a normal chosen. And why exactly it was such an issue that even his mother was here to watch?

Yes, Gerasmine was seated right on a huge comfy sofa made from an abundance of leaves and vines cuddled with Eth'ela, the very reason the other gods and goddesses had to lay off from spanking the little girl.

They were in her realm, a world of pure beauty. Forests from beginning to end with few plains and little rivers that broke out into streams. Hers was the only realm filled with creatures for now. Erizos had made the rest wait for something he refused to say before he'd let them fill their realm with his creations.

Anyway gathered around in a giant tree house that was built on an avatar of Taumune they watched via a floating screen as the fight between a newly born female Aavianduran and a male took place.

"Those generatorssss need to be checked. Firsssst was a weak demon , now a female angel. Itsss spitting out wierd thingsss today". Hangiram muttered tail coiling around a huge branch while his forked tongue licked his white jaws. Not as huge as him though.

Three sets of eyes pierced him while the fourth made a show of a finger running on her throat.

"How if I may ask do you mean dear brother?" Quintapazzuri was the one to ask. Her azure pupils slit like a reptile's making Hangiram nervous. He wondered what he had said to get some a deadly gaze.

" Well...Uhm.. ssseee ... the generator at first created nothing but males then suddenly we get a female. The demon one suddenly makes a weak demon. You do ssssee this is wierd right? Right?."

Either Quintapazzuri didn't intend on pushing the matter or his argument was valid either way the goddess looked away and back to the fight her golden hair a mix of feathers and fur swaying about with the movement. She looked just in time too as the female angel snapped the neck of the male who had come out of his stupor long enough to realize that something was seriously wrong with his brain.

Everyone watched unsurprised as the female was thrown right out by the voice after her win.

Looking around each of the gods stared at the other waiting for one to claim the only female angel in existence. Just as Pyrkam seeing that nobody was interested worked up the courage to speak a voice sounded drowning his hope miserably.

"If none will be after her I'll be taking her then. Excuse me mother" Soon enough a spot was empty.

Pyrkam could only curse while the rest shrugged and looked back to the screen.

Down in Aaviandur, the female sat atop a ledge her wings now wrapped around her while her brain mulled over things.

It wasn't a surprise to her that she won. What was frightening was how little power she had. Something told her if not for the male's daze she'd have lost magnificently. The voice commentary at the end made it obvious as to its agreement with her thoughts.

"Strength means little to nothing to me. I'm far behind if this world is already populated by males of stronger strength. I refuse to believe that male was the strongest."

" Even if he was it only means one thing. Strength can be useless when factors are in play. " Her mind racked at her own words.

" But where to find the knowledge I seek? This basic information isn't doing much for me."She muttered rolling her thumbs in exasperation.

" You should seriously get some clothes before thinking of knowledge little one"

The female bolted up startled at the voice almost dropping right off the mountain only to have an arm catch her.

" Weird this seems eerily familiar to a certain girl and demon " The voice muttered again.

" Who, wait, you,, you're...how.I thought I was the only female here."Eyes were set firmly on the swell of the chest on her helper's body. While it was covered with a blue tunic that gave off an invisible radiance she still knew subconsciously what they were.

"My eyes are up here girl. " the female announced with a peeved voice making the angel look right up only to freeze as she saw a sight she wasn't prepared for.

"Beau... beautiful. " compared to the heavenly face before her she could only be seen as ugly. The teenage-looking figure before her was sharp, almost scholarly as her azure eyes made various rakes over the young angel's nude body with a sense of curious gleam.

'If only I had father's permission. I'd love to see what makes you tick. Tsssk'.

Bringing her attention to the matter at hand. She snapped a finger drawing the lost angel to attention.

A shudder ran down the poor angel's back for reasons she couldn't understand. A sense of panic rose in her.

"I wasn't sure of my decision exactly, but after hearing your earlier words I'm convinced you're the right pick. Only idiots pick strength over mind".

*******

[Its settled she's my favorite. She knows true quality] Yet again Berus attacked Erizos who could only sneer and groan.

"I'll get you one of these days just you watch"

[Hehehe]

*******

"So I'll just get straight to it. " Her fingers snapped and a bead instantly dove into the female's head.

" Just like someone else did this boon will be locked for now. You'll need the first Layer to be able to use it. " She stopped then acted like she was pondering.

Pondering shit. She just didn't need the angel knowing she already intended on naming her. Trying to act all benevolent.

"But you need to be strong enough to live till then. This world might be better than Mondo but its still ruthless all the same". Surprisingly or not the female heard everything but Mondo, a sort of filter taking effect on the mention of another world. Not that she was aware.

The azure-eyed girl simply made an oops expression before clearing her throat. Yet before she could continue the female asked a question that made her smile.

"What happens to the losers in tbe Monolith of Battle. I mean I know they die, but it feels like I don't know exactly what that means". While she did understand something basic as death she didn't feel like what happened in there was it.

With a smile on her face the girl spoke.

"I'm glad you're smart enough to realize that, unlike others who waited to die before figuring it out."

"The Monolith of Battle is a sealed realm in this realm. There no one truly dies as death is banned from its grounds. Unfortunately for sister dearest. But of course, there is a catch. After all, victors need rewards to encourage them and losers need a reason to win next time or keep from losing again. Each death in the Monolith of Battle deals a 25% decrease in soul power calculated by the average total of both fighters' soul power. Before you ask how it works when the soul power is too low or in your case non-existent I'll tell you. The stats are used to calculate and also used as a reward. And when there is neither, well just pray to me or father or mother, not to my siblings, hehe, that it never falls below zero. It's not fun".
