127 - Whatever happened to Eldritch sama? How to fix a problem?.

It was insane how things could turn out. From the very beginning, the Eldritch had stood no chance. Its defeat inevitable.

It had never mattered who could or could not defeat it. The moment it had tasted Eth'elas' lifeblood its life had been sealed.

Of course, it couldn't reason more than instinctually. Its basic needs being to devour and consume. Yet while it had avoided the raw Ogor that floated in the cosmos it had drunk the purer of it. Even going as far as to take it in larger quantities.

It was almost like this multiverse was designed to kill it.

And now it lay writhing in a crooked form its face twisted in a horrific state. Its helmet cracked and creaked as it fell off.

Erizos would be a fool not to have realized what was happening to the Eldritch. Its body was breaking down from consuming his divinity. Even faster than it had when it took a drop from Eth'ela.

"The children say you were once a god. Mid-god. Corrupted into this." he stood right by the creature as it wailed.

"For whatever you are to devour divinity itself and get powerful yet a taste of mine harms you, is strange. Unless... " his eyes dropped to his palm. His palm turned front and back letting him observe the blue glow of the lifeblood within him.

[He took Eth'elas' blood. The damas within it must have affected him somewhat.]

"Consumes the divinity yet harmed by the Damas." Looking at the creature that seemed to be in a universe of pain yet not dying he decided.

"Let us find out then. " Vailex once more while hesitant still fulfilled the task of slashing open the god's palm. From within poured out the blue liquid with specks of white and gold mixed in. But today Erizos looked at it. Truly looked at it.

"True Scan".

[ICHOR OF ALL-FATHER

GRADE - DAMAS FUSED ORDONIS

QUANTITY - 1 PINT

A splash of lifeblood from the entity known as All-father Erizos of the ??????? multiverse. A very powerful blood capable of healing divines, regenerating energy, and notedly harming outer multiverse creatures.]

Sometimes Erizos forgot that the info he had was only dependent on what he and Berus knew. Which meant he saw only what he and Berus obviously knew.

Sighs.

Yet the moment he smeared the blood on his sword and looked at the creature he found it screeching unintelligibly.

It thrashed as he neared it, its eyes locked on the steel of his sword. No, not his steel. The blue liquid dripping down the blade.

"You know what it is. Don't you?"

The thing not grasping just crawled back refusing to take its gaze off the blade. Erizos slashed down the Eldritch screeching even before the sword pierced it.

The sight he saw was stunning. From the point his blade pierced the thing's body began drying up even faster becoming ash at an exponential rate.

"Shit. No" Alarmed at his possible only clue getting killed he grabbed it and began shaking the thing.

"Tell me what this blood is. Tell me!"

Of course, the Eldritch was more concerned with its waning life. Its eyes widening and shrinking at intervals as its body fell apart.

"Speak!"

His voice like thunder elicited a flash of lightning above in the barrier that held back the light of the sun.

The Eldritch looked to him almost like it understood. Then its hands moved, one of its two index fingers stretching forward to scrape into the ground its eyes looking there.

Erizos followed its line of sight and watched as its claws etched a symbol into the ground.

Whether it was finished or not he didn't know. What he knew was its eye locking onto him before the last of the degradation caught up to its face leaving nothing but ashes blowing into the air.

His eye was instantly back to the crude symbol. A scratch of lines and shapes that didn't make sense no matter how much he twisted his head about. It was unclear how long he took to try figuring out the plethora of symbols before he gave up his brain even as divine as he was beginning to feel like mush.

"Record it Berus. We'll study it later".

[RECORD COMPLETED]

Back at the core, Erizos stared at the now motionless root. If not for the subtle twitch here and there from it, he would have been assured that the thing was dead. Attempting the same method on the root had failed for some reason the damas strengthening the root and not actually killing it.

The root had even convulsed and a splat of greenish-dark sludge had been

spat out of the root. Erizos after burning the sludge had realized the root had changed. While it retained its greenish look it had gotten larger and corrupted in a lesser manner.

Almost like the Damas has rewritten its system or something.

"My blood scares me sometimes."

[Creepy thing indeed]

Scanning the core once more he noted the new change in it.

[FELL]

A ranking for corrupted creatures. The lower the fall the higher their rating.

Erizos would be lying if he didn't find this to be cool. Yet at the same time, it bothered him.

"Nothing I ever create first comes out normal eh". It was becoming a trend for his first attempts to not be normal. Well as normal as they were originally intended to be.

The Azkolves became Neasts, Velces mutated Duztros and was even connected to the sun. His first unit had been affected too. Now his first world already had a corruption tag on it.

It was clear that nothing ever went the original way.

Sighing the god could only shake his head. Raising his hand he ascended as he let divine essence pour out of him. Like a wave, it filled the pit up and flooded down to the core.

Like a glutton, the core swallowed up the essence provided, its colors brightening with each unit taken till it halted and then shook. From above Erizos watched as the stats changed
