What was it like?

"You know Amy, I love this version of you. You're getting more and more unpredictable," Maddie said as Amy showed her phone with the private QR code to the butler waiting by the restaurant's entrance.

"This place is trendy. I didn't know how you were able to make a reservation," Maddie continued.

"If you could follow me," said the butler.

"It smells amazing, ugh, my stomach is grumbling. I'm gonna eat as if there's no tomorrow," Maddie said, not paying attention to the nervous lady walking next to her.

Amy's hands were ice cold. She has been with Jim, but they've always been alone. The thought of meeting other members, staff, and crew are making Amy anxious. She feels like she's gonna throw up.

"Ma'am?" The butler said, interrupting Amy and her thoughts. "We're here. If you need anything, please let us know."

"Thank you" Amy smiled as the butler walked back to his station.

In front of her was a sliding wooden door. An image of stares and judgment overwhelmed Amy. 'Can she really do this?' In addition, The trauma from all the bashing from the previous scandal gave her shivers.

"Come on, Aims. I'm hungry" Maddie, without any clue of what's to come, opened the door and walked in.

"Amy" yelled a man at the farthest corner of the room.

Amy waived and let out a smile. Her worries dissipated the moment she saw Jim, who was now walking on his way to her.

"What the fuck, Amy," Maddie said in disbelief. Shocked by what's happening in front of her.

"Sorry," Amy whispered. "I figured you'd freak out and overreact if I told you sooner."

Maddie was on cloud nine but also infuriated. She looked at Amy and saw that she was dressed so casually while she was still dressed with full-on Axis21 merch.

Maddie sniffed herself to make sure she didn't smell like sweat from all the dancing and jumping she did not long ago. This was supposed to be Maddie's dream-come-true- moment, but Amy didn't even bother to at least give her time to change. 'Amy, you traitor,' Maddie cursed in her thoughts.

"Amy, you're here," Jim said, finally towering in front of Amy.

"Thanks for the invite," Amy blushed. "Jim, this is my sister Maddie. Maddie, this is Jim."

"Nice meeting you, Maddie" Jim extended his arm to shake Maddie's hand. "I heard you're a fan, thank you for supporting us," Jim continued.

Jim, Amy, and Maddie walked to the table where Jim was previously sitting.

"Noooona," Min Ho smiled brightly in his oversized black sweater and bucket hat. "It's good to see you again."

"Hi, Min Ho," Amy said. "You were awesome tonight. You all were," Amy continued as she scanned the table full of the most beautiful men in the world. She can't believe her eyes.

"Guys, this is Amy," Jim said, addressing everyone at the table, "and this is her sister Maddie."

The members greeted the women and offered them a space to sit.

"I love your hat," Min Ho spoke to Maddie, noticing they both had the same bucket hat. Maddie turned crimson red and wasn't able to talk.

Realizing she was lost for words, Min Ho smiled and started offering her food. "Eat; you must be hungry. You look pale," he added.

"So Jim told me you're a doctor," J said to Amy, trying to make a conversation.

"Yes, both Maddie and I are. Although she took more of the administrative role." Amy looked at Maddie, who still couldn't speak.

"Jim told me you love paintings," Amy said, trying to keep the conversation going.

"Oh yeah, it's been kind of a hobby of mine to collect arts and go to galleries."

"I love art, too. But I haven't been to galleries lately. I didn't know any places in Korea when I was there, nor did I have time to visit."

"You live in Korea?" Leo was surprised.

"I lived in Korea. As in past tense. I worked under GHO for some time; I was assigned in Japan, then in India, and then Korea". Amy answered.

"You said lived. Where are you living now?" Asked J.

"As of the moment, I live here- in Midwest, to be specific, but" Amy paused and looked at Jim shyly, then continued, " but I have been offered a position back in Korea, so I might be coming back."

"You took the job?" Jim was surprised. The last time they talked, Amy had not decided yet. "When are you coming back?" Jim is still in shock.

"I decided to take some time off and won't be starting till next month." Amy was taken aback by Jim's reaction.

"Are you still staying at your place? Did you move out while I was away?" Jim put his arm on the table, rested his face in his hand, and looked at Amy.

"No, it was still the same since the last time you were there. I was about to schedule the movers to clear out my things, but I guess I don't have to anymore" Amy smiled at Jim's angelic face. "I love the neighborhood, so I'm staying there."

"What?!" Maddie choked upon hearing Amy.

Realizing what Amy had said, she sat frozen, face blank and beet-red. Other members chuckled at the revelation.

"No! It wasn't like that," Amy corrected Maddie.

"So, what was it?" Maddie glared at Amy.

Amy opened her mouth, then closed it. She looked at Jim, hoping he would clear things out when he just sat there, still face on his palm, smiling.

"Oooh, Hyung," Min Ho teased, and everyone laughed.

The dinner went way better than Amy anticipated. All men were courteous, pleasant, and fun to be around. They talked and laughed about what happened 5 years ago or a day ago. The members seem to make extra effort to make Amy and Maddie comfortable.

Watching them talk, Amy felt the closeness among members. 'They're not just bandmates; they're family.'

After dinner, Jim pulled Amy to the side.

"Did you really accept the job in Korea? How long are you staying in Korea?"

"Ummm, I haven't thought of that, really. Maybe two years? I don't know. I would probably work there for some time, then do medical mission somewhere I'm needed."

"Can I see you?" Jim rubbed the back of his nape.

"Can I continue seeing you once you're in Korea?" He said much softer this time, holding both her hands.

"I'd like that" Amy smiled. Her heart swelled.

***** EXTRA

A while ago, during dinner.

"I love your hat," Min Ho noticed the matching hat of the pretty noona in front of him. She had short wavy hair just above her shoulder. 'Her nose is gorgeous,' Min Ho thought to himself. 'Her face is so small; my hands look enormous in comparison.'

"Groooowwwrrrrllll," The pretty noona's stomach protested.

This time, the flushed cheeks she had a minute ago were replaced by an embarrassed, I-want-to-die face.

Min Ho stopped himself from giggling.

Realizing she was lost for words, Min Ho smiled and started offering her food. "Eat; you must be hungry. You look pale," he added. And started putting food after food on the pretty noona's plate.
