Chapter - 85 - Gotcha!

The team shrugged their shoulders and looked at her innocently.

"Guys, I have a great piece of information for you," Gianna explained how she found the earpiece in Alexi's room and the conversation she heard through the earpiece. "Woah! So you fought with one of the night devil's men!" exclaimed Roberto. "Good that you broke his arm!" commented Aldo. "Is that man ashamed to admit that he lost to a woman in a fight, and that's why he mentioned you as a man?" asked Lucia. Gianna nodded, and the team laughed in disbelief. "Coward fools! If the Night Devil hears that his man lost to a woman, he will go crazy! Hahaha," remarked Aldo.

"Do you have the earpiece with you?" asked Lorenzo. Gianna shook her head and said, "I didn't want them to trace back to my location, so I handed it over to Mr. Ellerbrock!" "Great decision, Gianna," said Lorenzo. "As you said, if the Capellos trace back to us, all our hard will be gone in no time." Gianna nodded and said, "Kristen is on the radar again." Gianna told the team about the argument that happened between Gianna and Kristen.

"That b****! How dare she!" shouted Lucia. Gianna chuckled and said, "You should have seen her face when I mentioned the hit-and-run case. She thought no one would ever know about it." "The Ellerbrocks are transporting the weapons today. This will be the route they will take for transportation," said Aldo as he shared the route map. Gianna looked at the map for some time and asked, "Weapons? But why take this route?" "What do you mean?" asked Lorenzo.

What if Mr. Ellerbrock didn't burn the drugs, and what if the Night Devil had found out that the drugs were still in possession of the Ellerbrocks?" asked Gianna as she continued to look at the route map. "Lori and Luci, we have some serious work to do!" said Aldo. Lorenzo and Lucia nodded their heads as they leaned over their chairs. Gianna chuckled and said, "It's just a 'what if' theory." "Whatever it is, we won't be able to sleep till we solve your 'what if' theory!" exclaimed Lucia.

"For the record, all of your 'what if' theories have a 99.8% success rate," said Roberto. "I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!" exclaimed Gianna and chuckled. They kept discussing the various plans to tackle the night devil before he would leave Halston city, but nothing was futile in the end. "We can come up with more plans later. Don't get discouraged. I will need another favor from you all." "Are we now in a 'favor asking' kind of relationship?" asked Aldo with a smirk.

"My bad!" chuckled Gianna. "I have a 17-year-old patient who has been sexually assaulted and hit on the head twice by a plank with three nails embedded. She is lying on the bed like a half dead, but that ba***** is walking freely out somewhere." "What an a**h***! What should we do?" asked Lorenzo. "The police still didn't get a hold on him because he has avoided all the CCTV, and we know how limited their resources are! So I am going to hack and find that son of a biscuit! I have asked Julia to plot revenge, so if she texts me, you guys have to handle it. If she doesn't, then I will send a tip to the police."

Gianna started to look at each CCTV footage to find the assaulter. She caught a glimpse of the assaulter and zoomed in to study his body features even though he was fully covered. Gianna took notes on his assumed body features and kept playing the CCTV footage to find his whereabouts. She put on a hoodie as she felt cold and walked into the kitchen to make another cup of coffee. The time was already ten minutes to midnight, and she walked back to the study room with her coffee to continue the hunt.

Gianna continued screening the footage, but suddenly she paused and replayed the footage again and again. "Gotcha! So, this was the reason the police couldn't find you so easily! You can fool anyone but not me, you j*rk!" mumbled Gianna as she continued. She was deeply engrossed in the footage, determined to find the assaulter at any cost. Suddenly she was startled to hear a loud banging noise from the living room and paced towards the door quickly, with light footsteps.

Gianna peeked outside the door to scan the living room for the source of the sound. As the entire house was dark, she couldn't identify what had caused the loud noise. Gianna cautiously entered the living room and walked towards the balcony door. She slightly moved the curtain to peep outside as the door was transparent.
