Chapter - 132 - Stardust Technologies

"Did you get a girlfriend?" teased Aldo. "Maybe he scored well in his exams," said Lucia. "Did you win in a fight?" asked Lorenzo. Gianna calmly sat and listened to the conversation with a smile. "Stop it, guys! I applied for an internship, and I got it!!! You guys have no idea how developed the company I have applied to! I had to pass six rounds to get the internship! Can you guys believe it? I topped all the rounds."

"That's wonderful. Great job, Robbie! Why didn't you tell me you have applied for an internship? I would have arranged it for you!" said Gianna. "Gianna, this company is out of our league. This company leads the world's technology inventions and will soon become a monopoly. I wish to meet the chairman during my internship!" blabbered Roberto.

"It is also said that the world's top three hackers lead the team of researchers. As you are also one of the best hackers, do you know them, G?" asked Roberto with an expectant look.

Aldo looked at Gianna with a questioning look, like asking, 'Is he talking about the company we know?' Gianna shrugged her shoulders, and asked, "What is the company name?" "STARDUST TECHNOLOGIES!"

Lucia spitted her coffee as she heard the name. Aldo and Lorenzo started to laugh loudly. Gianna shook her head while laughing. Roberto was confused by their reactions and didn't know whether they were mocking him or appreciating him.

"Why are you all laughing at me? You have no idea how hard it is to get an internship in that company. Out of 100 candidates, only two candidates were selected, and I am one of them. How can you laugh at me?" complained Roberto.

Aldo and Lorenzo couldn't stop laughing. "We are proud of you, Robbie. It is indeed a good achievement from your side. I appreciate your performance." said Gianna with a proud smile.

"I am not hanging up the call until you all tell me why you all laughed at me!" said Roberto with a pout. "Congratulations Robbie! Anyway, I don't think you would need to meet the chairman," said Aldo in between his laugh. "Do you think I am not worthy to meet the chairman? Do you think I won't get through their training?" asked Roberto, clearly irritated.

"Only you are worthy, and that is why Aldo told you, you don't have to meet the chairman," said Lorenzo. "What do you mean?" asked Roberto in confusion. "What we mean is you have already met the chairman when you were 14 years old," said Lucia with a playful smile. Roberto was stunned and deep in thought. Suddenly reality hit his mind and looked at Gianna with wide eyes. Aldo knew that Roberto had finally realised.

"Yes, Robbie! You are looking at the legendary chairwoman of Stardust Technologies." "No way! G is that true?" Gianna nodded lazily and said, "Do a good job in the company and learn whatever you can! One day in the future, you may have to lead the company."

Roberto thought he was dreaming and looked at Gianna in amazement. "I wanted to surprise you all, but in return, I was the one who was bombarded with the surprise." Everyone laughed at his comment and quickly concluded the other matters.

"Wait! Does that mean you are the famous hacker, PERSES???" asked Roberto with a jaw drop. Gianna gave a nonchalant smile. Robbie couldn't believe that all this time, he was training under the great PERSES.

"I have to leave early for the hospital. I will contact you soon. Take care of your health!" said Gianna as she bid good night to the group and ended the video call. The others were still on the call. "Why didn't you guys tell me that Stardust was G's company?" questioned Roberto with a cute pout. "I doubt even Gianna remembers what she owns," smirked Aldo as he took a bite from an apple.

"What do you mean?!" exclaimed Roberto. "We know only a few assets she owns. Don't limit your imagination about G. She holds a huge network of people who are very loyal to her," said Lorenzo.

"Also, I am one hundred percent sure that she just remembered that a company called Stardust Technologies exists when you mentioned it." Roberto was starstruck, and admiration towards Gianna increased a hundredfold.

Meanwhile, Gianna walked into the balcony and sighed as she looked at the cold night sky. "Why does this night sky resemble that annoying jerk? I have no idea why I think of him in the first place! Sh*t!!! Was I harsh to him? Should I call him? No, no, no…. He is just a passing breeze." She shook off the insane thoughts and entered the study while searching for a contact.

'I would have completely forgotten about Stardust if not for Robbie! Travis will murder me if he hears me,' thought Gianna as she dialled the number. The team would have died out of laughter if they heard what Gianna said.

"Good evening, Ms. Salvatore," said a man in his late thirties with an attractive husky voice.
