Two Bad Options

Diane shoved him away before scuffling to her feet in fear. The pain her face was in couldn't be explained in words - it hurt so much but fear kept her silent... Even worse than what she'd recalled from that night.

"Monster!". She turned to run away but he wrapped her in a tight embrace from behind. Even where she elbowed his face, he showed no signs of loosening his grip so she began to scream.

He only spat out some blood to the floor before squeezing her tight enough to obstruct proper airflow. She punched and scratched at his hands as he lifted her without letting go.

"Shit! I hate you! I'll never forgive you!". She cursed while doing all she could. "Bastard! You're an animal!". He used his feet to open up the cellar door in a different room before tossing her inside and going in as well.

He shut the top almost as fast as they entered.

Diane coughed in an attempt to gather as much air as possible, plus the landing had bruised her elbows.
