"Come out – come out… wherever you are. Don't tell me that your feelings are still hurt, Derek. Come on. Don't you want me to kiss it and make it better? I was always good at that – wasn't I?" Kate taunted Derek from outside. Even though Kate couldn't physically see that she was pissing Derek off, she was doing a bang-up job.
She wants to force our hand and have us lash out before we're ready. That's the problem, though. We are ready. We've been ready… but that doesn't mean that we're going to rush out and do something stupid. Why is it that people are always underestimating us? Oh, well. It normally works out in our favor.
"You know, I think it's really cute that you like to broadcast the fact that you're a pedophile, Kate. It's just adorable." I broadcasted my thoughts outside, so she could hear me. I heard an angry snarl and I knew that she got my message loud and clear. Two can play that game. She should know that by now.
Even though Crowley definitely didn't want to be here, it was obvious that he was getting his jollies off at the possibility of a cat fight. Typical guy.
"Bonnie, we're ready." Lydia told me, touching my arm. I nodded. We have absolutely one chance at catching them off guard. We can't screw this up.
"It's time." Deaton reaffirmed. He handed me a basket full of enchanted mountain ash. If this actually works, it'll keep anyone wishing us hard from coming inside, and provide a type of force-field around the house. The house is warded, too. It should work against demons, so no one can be possessed.
Davina, Deaton, Stiles and I joined hands and began to chant. Our hands grew warm and the energy between us began to intensify. The air in the house began changing. We all watched as the mountain ash levitated and became one with the house.
"Wow," Isaac breathed, as he looked at us, awestruck.
"Indeed," Deaton agreed with him. As much as I appreciated the protection that the house offered, I didn't wat to give them a chance to take the fight into the house. I wanted to give everyone a safe place that couldn't be breached. I just pray that this actually works. Goddess, please be with us. If I ever needed the powers of my ancestors, it's today.
I took a step towards the door and Stiles grabbed my waist and spun me around. His lips were on mine, before I could ask him what he wanted. He was expressing everything he couldn't tell me physically, through the kiss. I felt the spark ignite between us. I felt powerful and revived. I knew that we were stronger together than apart, but being able to feed off of each other's magic to actually recharge is new.
We broke apart, before I was ready, but I knew that there wasn't time for anything more. I squeezed his hand and kissed me, one last time.
"We're going to make it through this." He sounded so sure. I nodded, knowing that we had to believe that, in order to make it through this.
"I know." I murmured. I let go of his hand and stepped outside. Stiles and Davina came out behind me. Scott and Derek joined us, but everyone else stayed behind. They'll come out, when we need them.
I tried not to let my shock show. Esther and Mikael were front and center with Kate. They had countless others with them. Lydia and Deaton were working on a spell to kill Esther and Mikael and keep them in their graves for good. I just hoped that we would be able to fend them off, until then.
Scott roared and everyone, apart from Lydia and Deaton filed out of the house and took their places next to us. I'm not sure who threw the first attack. It came quickly and the rest was a blur of everyone fighting.
We took the fight to them. Everyone sprang into action. I stayed close to Klaus. I didn't want to make it easy on his mother to take him out.
"Bonnie, down!" Scott roared. I dropped to my knees, without question. He lunged over me and tackled my would-be attacker. I saw a vampire try and take him out from behind. I channeled the elements around me and sent a fireball straight to the vampire's chest.
I saw Esther make her way towards Stiles out of the corner of my eye. I ran to him. She's always been powerful. I don't even know if we'll be powerful enough to take her on together. I just prayed that I would be. Davina seemed to realize what I was doing, because she ran to help me. I shook my head.
"Stay with Klaus! Don't let Mikael near him!" I yelled. She nodded and did as I asked. Caroline beat me to Stiles. She was at his side, moments before I was. Esther was speaking too low for me to hear what she was saying, but I knew that whatever it was, it couldn't be good.
I grabbed Stiles' hand and looked at Esther. I felt our energy surge. We stopped her in her tracks. She seemed surprised and infuriated in equal measure. She moved her hands and daggers flew at us. I was a hair too slow. I spun so that it hit me instead of Stiles. Caroline was taking on two wolves of her own. She had her own battle to worry about.
"Bonnie!" Lydia screamed. I whipped my head around and saw that she was standing in the doorway, clutching a piece of paper. I moved my hand and willed my magic to bring it to me. It was in my hand and I looked at Stiles. He knew what we needed to do. Davina was at my side, before I could even ask. We started chanting in unison. Esther fumed. She set the land surrounding the house on fire. I heard everyone start to scream. We just kept chanting. We can't stop, no matter what she throws at us.
As soon as we finished, there was an eerie silence. She and Mikael fell to the ground and the flames dissipated. Their bodies began to desecrate. Everyone froze and watched them crumble into ask. I let out a breath of relief.
"Leave now or die." Scott growled. Everyone on the opposing side, including Kate, left. I scanned the area and ran to help Erica and Dean. They were both bloody and limping. Isaac and Jo didn't seem like they were in much better condition. Everyone made their way to the house.
"Well, now that you've got the threat taken care of, I think it's time for me to leave." Crowley tried. I shook my head.
"Are you ending the Deadpool or taking the hit off of our head?" Bobby asked him in a gruff voice. Crowley's smirk fell and he looked annoyed.
"There is the small matter of that bitch, Abaddon…." He drawled. Boyd growled at him and Sam looked like he wanted to pummel him. "Relax kiddies, half of the battle is taken care of. I have an idea of how to take care of her." Crowley revealed.
"Why are we just now hearing about this?" Chris asked him. Elijah looked wary.
"We'll need you for this, Dean. You're going to need to visit a man named Cain and get something called the first blade
