Now , the review:

Still here? Great so:

The novel start well , there is funny moment bc Mc take more or less the place of Hiruzen as the 3d hokage while Hiruzen became like the original Danzo and start creating root and going ape crazy. Now, here come the main problem (2 main proble actually). 

First : you thought there will be fighting uh? Poor you... this novel is more slice of life/humour/romance rather than shonen/adventure. From my memories , the story is mainly going with the recurring situation/gag of  : Mc doing something -> someone try to create problem (usually Hiruzen or some Random dumb young master from other country) -> Mc end the problem (usually by humiliating the Random causing problem while Mc is praise as the new Messiah by 2-3 background chara) -> All people praise Mc -> Repeat. And when i say repeat it's like REPEAT, the pattern doesn't change, Mc is never really in a bad situation, classical perfect Chinese Mc whith courting death bs.

Second: The romance and pacing in general is veeeeeeery slow, like , from memories it took something like 150+ chapter of bad written romance between Mc and the 2 Romance interest  wich finally end by him just choosing both.

Finally , if i remember well the novel was dropped so sadly there will be no end.

In the end i would say the Novel has some great idea but poor execution. There is no real progress or any hardship, Mc will just have his system munching the work for him while pretty much all the bad guy are just dumb. Also the Hiruzen bashing get old the longer you read, like, it's funny the 2 -3 first time but in the end , the repetition of this gag just tired me out.

mc is Danzo you get it from the synopsis. he has a selection system, where you make a decision and get skill, etc from it.
He also has a inventory. 
Story starts at the day of death of Tobirama.
