CONFRONTATION

HYRUM went inside Cheng's mansion, making sure to join the family dinner. He went in with his plain white shirt and ripped jeans. He looked like a spoiled son who only cared about himself after womanizing around.

"Where have you been?" Howie's voice thundered. He was about to go to the dining room while Bien was midway on the grand staircase.

Hyrum scratched his head. "Since when have you cared about my personal affairs, Dad? I'm busy looking for your future daughter-in-law. What else new?"

Howie's expression hardened. "When will you grow up? I've appointed you as one of the top-ranking executives in the company to help me. But look at you. It seems your rebellious teenage phase is not yet over."

Hyrum shrugged. "Whatever. I thought you'd be happy to see me. I went out of town since you wouldn't trust me with our operations, Dad. I told you I'd handle everything about the leak of our confidential files, but you give it to Bien."
