Chapter 40

　　Just as Hugh predicted, Adam started the car with extreme speed but he was able to pester him to drive at the normal speed, pleading with him that his daughter needed her father alive.

　　After what felt like forever to Adam, they got to the address. He came down from the car immediately and took in the surroundings. It was one of the slum areas in Chicago. Houses were built so close to each other, the buildings were extremely old, it was quite noisy with people going to and fro and even the smell of the environment could make one nauseous.

　　“Where are they?” Adam turned to Hugh.

　　“That’s Chad, let’s go!” He pointed to the far end of the building where Chad stood. Hugh led the way, Adam and Troy followed suit, ignoring the stares, glares, whispers, and seductive winks around.

　　It wasn’t every day the residents of that area got to see a Greek god like Adam or his very expensive car.
