54. Mandevilla

I barely saw the wooden ceiling of my room. 'Room?' Yes, for the last three days I was moved to a room that was quite small. It had one bed, one bathroom, and a small table in it. My meal was delivered every morning and every evening, while my afternoon meal was leftovers from my morning or my evening.

Mandevilla in bright sapphire was now spreading up in my room, parts of the walls, somewhere near the washbasin, and by the door. I guess it was not the type of Mandevilla anymore. it was closer to wisteria, instead, due to the huge number of flowers which caused them to stretch down. The light came from a candle reflected by those beautiful beads that made my room brighter. The roots and the stems grew bigger, causing bigger cracks and bigger gaps. I could even insert my little finger into the cracks.
