Everyone's focus was now on them, Anna had her guard up.
"You thought I didn't notice you, Victor?"
"I knew you did, every time you used the word "Guest" you'd always glanced at us, I was hoping I was wrong but it seemed now that wasn't the case "

"I set up this little display to give a little more insight on the grace you possessed but I couldn't wait any longer, I wanted to talk to you, naturally we would have gone after your sister but we would have had no way to contact you and she's wasn't necessary in this story, "
"I'm glad you avoided her and threw this little party in my honor but I think I want to leave early, thanks for the food though, "

Dr. Enoch faced Anna.
"My, My, Anna you look quite ravishing tonight, I see my dress fits you perfectly, black, just like your soul. "
"You have terrible taste in women's clothing, "Anna.
"Keep your pervy thoughts to yourself geezer were leaving, "
"Anna, Take my hand"
"Yes, Anna, take your boyfriend's hand, Anna, "Dr. Enoch smirked.
"She's not my girlfriend...(yet) and also TIME LAG!"
The entirety of the hall was slowed down, and Anna holding onto Victor's hand was left unaffected by his ability.
"So this is the infamous time lag, "Dr. Enoch.
Victor turned around
"H-how are you moving?!"Victor looked in terror.
Riven came out of nowhere and punched Victor to the furthest end of the hall.
"Gah! my arm, did my bone just crack?!, lucky that wasn't my face I would have been dead, Calm down, No! No time to think, Time containment!"
Victor caught Riven in a time containment and walked towards Anna.
"Anna, let's get out of here while he's still trapped, I'll cast another one, "
"Go ahead Anna take that precious hand you love so much, those precious hands you're deceiving, "Dr. Enoch wore a sinister smile.
"Pipe down!" Victor.
Victor held Anna's hand and pulled her with him as he ran towards the door.
"Whatever he's going to say I'm not gonna listen, let's just go, if you feel you can't tell me then I won't ask" Victor.
"Anna, make Victor break his time containment on Riven...or else I'll tell him, "Dr. Enoch.
"I'm not gonna listen then, whatever you have on her I don't care!" Victor.
They reached the door but it was still under the effect of time lag.
"Crap, it won't budge"
"Hahaha, haha, your own ability prevented your escape, you're quite funny Mr. Edeosa"
"Don't call me that, geezer!"Victor.
"That's what's your worried about, you really have to learn to get your priorities straight?"Dr. Enoch
"Anyway, your time lag should be ending right about...now, a minute's up"
"How did he know about the minute's thing?!"

He got punched in the stomach by Anna.
*Cough-cough* "Why...?"
"I'm sorry, "Anna.
She punched him in the face, enough that he broke his concentration, and then Riven was released.
"Anna, why did you do that?!"
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you find out yet, "Anna said as she was trying to hold back her tears.
"Whatever he has on you I don't care, I'll get us out of this, just trust me, I'm your failsafe remember?"Victor smiled at her trying to comfort her but it had the opposite effect.
"You are quite naive Victor, do you believe that someone like her deserves those words?"
"I told you I'm not listening to you!"
"Why do you feel the need to protect her? In your perspective, you haven't known her for more than a week correct?" Dr. Enoch
"I..."Victor.
"I'll ask you this simple question, 'How long do you think you've known her that you're risking your life for her?' "Dr. Enoch.
"I don't need to know someone for years, to see when they need help!"
"Argh, my head!"Victor.
"You're starting to remember, "Enoch grinned.
POV Victor
What is this memory? I hear laughter, Am I laughing with someone? No, they're laughing at me?
Five people..?
...Why am I on the floor? They're splashing cold water on me... and is that...Anna?
"Arghh, my head! Anna...what are you doing in my memories?"
"That's right Victor Edeosa, you've known Anna far longer than you believe you think you have, or should I say, longer than she made you believe you have! "Dr. Enoch.
She hung her head low while quivering.
"I'm...not talking to you, geezer. Anna, I...asked you a...question, Arghh, my head!"Victor.
"Should I tell him, Miss Annabelle?" Enoch smirked.
"Wait, Please...don't!"Anna.
Riven rushed and grabbed Victor's face and bashed it against the wall.
"Gahh!"Victor
"Miss me?"Riven.
"Get...off...of...me!"
"Heh, I love that face, keep it up!"
He grabs Victor by the collar and uses him to break through the wall, it created a large hole and Victor fell through but prior before he fell he grabbed onto Riven's arm and pulled him with him.
Both in mid-air and about to fall to the ground Victor casts a time lag around the surrounding, letting him use the slowed-down debris as a foothold to get to the ground, he lands safely then he releases his time lag, and all the heavy debris landed on Riven.
"Phew, I hope that got him, Tch" He held on to his bleeding eye "He crushed his left eye, I can't even open it. I'll try to endure the pain for a while, I have to save Anna, I'm really curious about what she's hiding and why she's I'm memories, "
"I'm getting dizzy, he might have hit my head too hard"
He tore his sleeve and used it to wrap around his eyes.
"Even in a situation like this you're still thinking about her, lover boy"
Victor looked back in terror as Riven survived and came out of the debris unharmed.
