Evelyn walked into the house with hurried footsteps, and Edgar helplessly followed after her. It's not that he didn't try to talk to her during this time.

But each time he tried to initiate a conversation between both of them, she showed no intention of responding to him. This made him sure that she was really mad at him.

Although it was a little troublesome, he had to think of ways to quell her anger, and this time, he knew that it was his fault.

He knew that Evelyn was mad at him because she cared about him, and despite that, he couldn't help it.

"Both of you are home. Where have you been to? Edgar, you are hurt. Did you get into a fight again?" Amelia voiced out upon seeing the children enter.

Recalling about how Edgar got injured again made Evelyn's eyes darken, and she stated, "I just went around here. Mom, I am going to study. Don't call me, and I am not hungry. You can eat my part."
