Seeing how the tense the atmosphere had been in the home, with the relationship between both Evelyn and Edgar not easing, Amelia took it in her hand to do something.

It would be a pity to let such a good relationship go sour.

That's why, she decided to hold a picnic with the entire family. Daniel had time free for the weekend and agreed along.

When Amelia brought up the matter to the children, they showed obvious rejection on their faces. They knew how awkward it would turn out to be and didn't know how to interact with each other.

But because of how eager Amelia sounded, they didn't have the heart to turn her down. At the end, they agreed to it with a sullen face.

After that, the children thought about the picnic for the rest of the week and what to do for the day. Neither of them had the courage to face each other.
