Chapter 27
The alarm was getting annoying waking me up from my sweet sleep. I turned it off and slept again knowing very well it was already morning. Aikens came in after knocking on the door several times which I heard but was reluctant to open it
"Good morning pretty ", he greeted.
"Good morning. What are you doing here?", I asked knowing very well he was coming to call me for breakfast.
"Well, you should relax with your questions. How was your night ?"
"My night was a blast and a blissful one. Yours?"
"How do you expect it to be when you ran away from the room?", he mocked.
"You should t have done that sister", Jazzy said from behind. "Why did you have to run away from my one and only brother?. Anyways breakfast is served", she smirked and left.
Jazzy is one of the stubborn girls I've met in my life. She always teased me leaving her brother out of it. We both stared at each other when she left.
"I'm not shocked at how silly she is, she took after her brother"
"I think she decided to take after her sister in law", he reciprocated.
"Both of you are just the same, just get out of my room", I said pushing him out of the room. I closed the door so he wouldn't come in to disturb again.
"If you don't come out, there will be no food for you", he said and I head him walk away.
I had my shower before going to join them downstairs. After breakfast, we went out for shopping. He bought me one of his favorite perfumes and a rose which he fixed I my hair. I did the same for Jazzy so she wouldn't feel left out even though she wasn't complaining.
We bought lots of couple clothes and shoes, including watch, necklace and a whole lot. It was as if we wanted to send the whole boutique to the house. I helped Jazzy pick some clothes too that had a little combination as ours so we could wear on the same day. The thought was so amazing that I couldn't stop smiling.
"Don't smile too much, others might fall for you", Aikens was always the first person to make comments about anything I do and I knew ones he was done, his baby sister would continue so I decided to stop her beforehand.
"I know you will going to join him, I won't smile again", I said we we all laughed at my silly comment.
After the shopping, we went back home to start packing so we wouldn't leave anything behind. I later went to my apartment with Jazzy so she could help me organize some things before our trip. We played hide and seek after organizing the necessary things to release stress. Aikens came to pick us from my place like babies who didn't know their way back home after school but we couldn't complain. He had already served dinner when we arrived so all we had to do was stuff it into our stomach. The days moved faster than usual.
