Chapter 29

"Feel free and sit, this is your home", aunt said when we got to the hall. Even the interior of the house was like heaven. Just the chandelier hanging could be worth millions but it was hanging beautifully in the house aunt Rebecca claimed to have relocated to.

Millicent came to welcome us when we settled down .

"Ma'am, please what may I offer you?", she requested.

"Just give me water. As for those two, I didn't they are okay", I said shooting them a deadly glare. Millicent looked confused because she couldn't possibly say she wouldn't serve them anything.

"Did you hear what I said?", I questioned her making her rush to the kitchen.

"Here ma'am ", she said dropping the water on the table.

"Note this, just call me Annie not ma'am "

"Yes ma'am, I'm sorry Annie", she corrected herself immediately.

"Good, now you can leave".

Aunt came from the kitchen after sometime of being there for heavens knew what she was doing in there while having a helper.

"Annie", she called .

"Yes aunt", I responded I'm order to avoid her calling again.

"Your rooms are ready. The first room on the far left is yours, the one in the middle is Aikens' and the third one is for Jazzy ", she shared the room as if we were coming for some king of youth camp.

"But aunt, can't I share a room with him?", I asked pointing at Aikens who was quietly measuring the distance between the rooms.

"No Annie, you can't "

"But he's my…."

"Annie, don't tell me you guys have already….",

"Come on aunt, am not a kid anymore", I cut her off before she could finish whatever she had to say.

"You mean both of you have already had sex?", she just said it without stopping mid sentence making Jazzy head towards her room without looking back. Aikens also had to fake a cough so that aunt will be careful with her words but she cared less.

"Aunt relax, we…we haven't done anything", I said shyly and dragged Aikens by his collar upstairs avoiding further naughty thoughts from aunt. I left him when we got to his door before walking to mine since it was just next to his. We both entered our rooms to freshen up before coming down for supper.

After some minutes, aunt called us out that dinner was served. I was the first to hurry out because I was really starving and I had also missed the taste of home food but I bumped into Millicent.

"Ma'am, please you are not properly dressed ", she said making me take a look at myself just to notice she was saying the truth.

"Thanks Milly, but I think you forgot something ", I said getting her lost in her own thoughts for sometime.

"Oh yeah, Annie", she finally responded making me smile at how cute she looked.

"You are really smart. I'd get changed now ", I said and went back to my room.

I went back to wear a blue fitting straight dress which which exposed my curves perfectly. I hurried downstairs knowing very well they might be waiting for me. On getting there, they all turned to look at me fixing their gazes on me.

"Were you talking about me?", I learned my throat to ask.

"Why would we talk about you? It's just that it's hard to take our eyes off you", Aikens said. He forgot aunt was sitting right next to him. She opened her eyes just staring at Aikens shocked at what he was saying. I thought my aunt had changed from her old lifestyle that she wouldn't allow any guy to compliment me in-front of her eyes. I faked a cough signaling him to look at the directions where aunt was and no one asked him to shut it.

"Come sit my dear, before this gentleman devours you with his eyes", aunt said making us break out laughing.

"Aunt can I ask you some questions after the meal?", I asked her after taking my seat.

"Why not? Let's eat first", she said and served us. The aroma of the food alone couldn't be forgotten. I realized Aikens was not eating but was just staring at me. It was really really fun staring at each other till Jazzy decided to gossip to aunt. Aunt dropped her spook deliberately to catch our attention.

"It seems my people are in a hurry and can not wait", she teased.

"I'm just enjoying this meal, the taste is still the same ", I said wanting to change what she was thinking and it worked.

"I'm surprised you still remember how my food tastes "

"I can't forget home no matter what", I giggled and continued eating.
