"What happened?"

This was the first question that escaped my lips once my eyes could open up. 

"You almost got us killed, that's what happened," Ethan responded. 

I sat up.

"The giant thing, what happened to it?" I inquired.

"You killed it." He said, 

He was sitting in a chair with his legs crossed.

"How could I single-handedly kill such a thing?" I gave a sarcastic chuckle.

"Not a thing actually, more like a demigod." He said, 

"Goliath is no man or thing, he is a product of a human and a fallen angel but yes, you killed him" he added.

"How!" 

He remained quiet, staring at me.

"You are unconsciously unlocking powers Amara didn't know were subject to her will." He replied.

"Is that a good thing?" I inquired.

"In completing the tasks? Yeah but for you? I am not so sure." He told me.

"O–kay…You are beginning to scare me." I confessed.
