Start of Commotion

Sometimes many things in this world just come without warning or begin to flow until we are unaware of them ourselves.

Diga just got out of his tent because he still felt endlessly tired then, not tired from traveling but tired from having to interact with many other people. Typical introverts whose energy is consumed by other people so that they absorb the negative energy around them quickly.

"Can you help me to fetch water in the back room, will you?" asked Rara to Diga, who was taking a deep breath to restore his energy.

Diga, a human who couldn't say 'no' to others, forced himself to help Rara then. They walked through almost all the existing camp booths; Rara, famous in SMA 70, was in the spotlight for walking with Diga.

Arriving at the booth, Rara, who can't lift a lot of water, makes Diga have to take action too.

"Just let me take the water. Rara, hold on to this, okay?" Diga said while giving the gallon; he was holding.

Some of Diga's collected spilled water took longer to fill the gallon to the brim.

"Thank you," said Sis Rara.

While on the trip, Rara told me that she was fighting with her boyfriend, Dimas, who was also a student council member. Along the way, Diga tried to listen even though he didn't want to know about other people's problems until, in the end, Rara cried because she didn't want her relationship with Dimas to end just like that.

Indeed, in every relationship, one will not want to be separated, even though he knows the relationship can no longer be fought for.

"The patient, sis," said Diga.

Kai was cleaning up his tent along with ten other tent occupants.

"Here, let me help," said Nanang to Kai, who was having trouble opening the mattress frame.

Kai nodded his head, trying not to show his admiration for Nanang. Nanang is one of the famous student council members and became the most wanted boy in SMA 70.

"You can," said Kai.

Kai weakened in front of this man she admired. Kai is usually always strong and tries himself in every difficulty, but this time she tries to be a helpless woman.

Finally, the two of them chatted while opening the bed frame, conversation after conversation Kai enjoyed because this was a rare moment and would not be able to happen in school.

"How? Do you think it's a fun activity?" asked Nanang while looking intensely at Kai.

Kai immediately lowered his head; his mind now was the image of Diga's face, who would laugh out loud if he saw his behavior like this.

"Maybe," replied Kai.

After everything was neatly opened, the other tent occupants came out because there was a warning to return to the line. After all, the sequence of events would be read out; considering it was getting darker, the committee would speed up the conversation this time.

"If there's anything, just tell me," said Nanang as he walked away from Kai.

Arriving at the camp hall, Kai went straight into the line; a voice from behind was talking about someone.

"Yes, the second grader has approached Rara," came the voice.

Kai tried not to bother with the talk because, according to him, there was also no interest. Finally, someone talked about Diga.

"He said, Diga, yes, his name. There's a rose child."

Kai immediately turned his face like he couldn't believe it because Diga didn't tell him anything these few days. Finally, hearing those words, Kai will find Diga after the committee reads the rundown of this camp activity.

"I see your girl is close to your classmate," said Vishnu.

At that time, Dimas was upset because he was fighting with Rara, and his emotions were immediately ignited. He immediately stood up from his seat with an angry look at Wisnu.

"Where did you come from?"

"Kids are talking. The problem is that since yesterday, my classmate has helped Rara until she lifts the gallon; she wants to. Haha," repeated Wisnu.

Dimas did not want to act immediately to find out the truth and see what Rara was doing for himself.

"Ga!" call Kai.

Diga immediately turned to Kai with a face that melted and limp, and his considerations turned pale.

"Hah? Why?"

Diga is trying hard to overcome his little fatigue today, but Kai, who already knows Diga, who already knows and knows that his best friend is an introvert, must have met a human.

"Drink first," Kai handed him the orange juice he had brought with him.

After Diga drank the orange juice and looked fresher, Kai immediately opened up the topic of gossip that was spread here.

"What are you doing with your mentor brother?"

"It means?"

"That's my classmate again gossiping about you and Rara; he said you were close to him," explained Kai.

Diga furrowed his brow in confusion because he didn't feel he was bringing Rara or anyone closer.

"No, I swear I'm not close to anyone," answered Diga.

When Diga answered like that, a feeling of relief immediately burst into Kai's heart because when he heard the gossip that Kai didn't just become the subject of every student's talk, there was a feeling that was cracked in his heart.

Even though Kai tries to like other people, including Nanang, who is his target, his sincere love for Diga can't just be erased.

"Oh, I see. Well, just be careful."

"Why?"

"The boyfriend is fierce," Kai said and immediately rushed to his tent because the day was starting to get late, and remembering tomorrow's activities were very busy.

The strong wind seeped through the blue jacket that Diga was wearing; the journey to the campsite was quite far from where the two of them were chatting.

The thought of the rumors circulating made Diga even more tired because he would keep thinking about it, especially Kai's last words which made him even more scared.

Diga didn't expect his kindness to become the subject of gossip in the school and might backfire; once in a while, he sighed because felt guilty for doing good, and also forgot that Rara is a famous student, so he's easy too become an easy target for people. Someone else to talk about.

"Wow, you're Diga?"

"Y-yes, sis"

"Don't play with me!"

Diga was silent, not knowing what to say; tonight seemed to be the night he never wanted. Having to deal with classmates is the thing that Diga avoids the most.
