Heaven's little trick.

Heaven stood along the shores of the beach constantly checking her phone as if she was waiting for a call from someone important and at the same time checking her wrist watch. "What's taking him long to call me?"

She had a waist bag tied up around her waist.

Cautiously, Heaven observed the surroundings. The windy nature of the Beach especially in the morning blew her hair making it surrender it'self to the wind direction.

Though it was darm cold, Heaven wore short jeans with a twist front crop top, a leather jacket which she left open and white sneakers. Covered her eyes with black rounded glasses

Even though Heaven felt chilly from the breeze, she didn't give it a darm fucking thought to wait in the car but Insteady stood outside like an emotionless walking robot.

The beach used to be her favorite spot in the past whenever she was mad at something , she would come to chill her nerves down and here she was again after living in the life full of lies for a year.

It would have been good if they told her the truth from the Start and there she wouldn't have bothered going around asking for the truth about the boy. Tom's parents hated her to the core the last time she visit she came back drenched and left the poor woman tearing up like an hungry baby.

So from that day she used to watch them from a far not daring to get close to them or be seen around because it wouldn't turn out good for her. And yes, they had every right to hate and resent her because she was the one why their son died.

THREE DAYS AGO, AT NIGHT...

HEAVEN SNEAKED OUT OF THE HOUSE FROM THE WINDOW BY THE HELP OF A ROPE, she was professional in doing that given the fact that she did it several times when she was grounded for a month, thanks to that she gained experience. Everytime she wanted to wander around without anyone noticing she would sneak out but that day her plan didn't work out since she landed straight on Lady Axel who was talking on the phone.

"Lady Axel what are you doing here at this time?" Heaven nervously asked

"That was a quick one, I never expected you to be that professional in sneaking ." replied Lady Axel struggling to get up

"Well... I wanted to go somewhere alone, you know the guards report everything that's going on here so I wanted to dodge them unexpectedly I ran into you." innocently said Heaven

To her surprised Lady Axel gently tapped on her shoulders and walked away.

IN THE CEMETERY,

Heaven was holding a small touch in her hands with dim light, checking on every tombstone, She tiptoed until she reached on the tombstone with "MURDERED BY A TRAITOR AND A COWARD WHOSE NAME IS NOT WORTHY TO HER APPEAR HERE... OF YOUR CHARITY PRAY FOR THE SOUL OF MY SON TOM GLUTCHER BORN ON 24/05/2004- 19/08/2021."

On reading the words on the grave, Crystal like tears fell down Heaven's face, she knelt down holding flowers in her hands but didn't put them down near the wilted one instead hugged them tight close to her heart as she cried staring at the grave.

"I would have died instead of you Tom, I was a good choice to die since no body would have cried because of me, not even my parents because I never listened to whatever they say, Am just a troublesome kid who deserves nothing but death. Your mother hates me to core, I visited her recently but she poured fish soup on me.. we miss you Tom, Your family misses. I will do everything in my power to get those who did it to, How are you Tom? Are you okay there? I know am the last person you would want to see or hear from but I miss you Tom, I am so sorry ." Heaven poured her heart out before she gently placed the flowers.

She sneakily walked out but little did she knew that Tom's mother had heard everything she said . A smile appeared on the ladies lips as she watched the girl walk away.

Time. Present day

Place. On the beach shores

Duration; 8:30 am

As her eyes continued to search and observe the beach, they landed on a half naked man whose mind was preoccupied with his novel. The book covered his face but according to the way he was dressed and his body features you could easily tell he was a man. "No woman can bear to sit outside without covering her chest."

"This can't be happening, it's too early for an old man to be here at this time and half naked in this coldness, his he a ghost or something?" Heaven thought inwardly.

A hand tapped her on the shoulders bringing her back to reality. " I knew you would be here." Hazel spoke from behind her patting heavily like she was from a race

And the truth is that she was because she crazily drove on the road like there was no tomorrow just to caught up with Heaven who was also speeding.

Sadly on Hazel's side and luckily on Heaven's side, Hazel was caught by traffic lights.

Placing her finger on her chin, Heaven wickedly smiled at her statement because she had expected her to tail behind her after reading the message and shrugged off the hand off her shoulders.

"Of course I knew you would trail behind me after you receive the message." said Heaven in a cold voice

"Then I made your dream come true since I followed you all the way here, Am Wondering if you have something to discuss with me in secret? Are you into me?" jokingly asked Hazel and a wicked smile made it's way on her lips.

"Me being into you? my ass." Heaven replied pulling her Jacket to cover up her right hand wrist .

Her hand was bruised and hurt her like hell but she never wanted anyone to see it especially Hazel her number one enemy but unexpected Hazel had already seen her bruises.

"You hurt yourself?" asked Hazel sounding worried and moved closer to check up the bruises but Heaven didn't allow her. No matter how hard Heaven tried to hid her bruises under the sleeves of the jacket it was no longer of no use to hid them anymore

"Stop acting like an Angel or an innocent girl Hazel, that pisses me off acting all nice yet you are a devil yourself." said Heaven as she stuck a finger at Hazel's face

"Hazel lunatically laughing."

"So, you got your memories back? I expected it but not so soon. I enjoyed to be Hazel Fordham, it's fun being this innocent, stupid, clumsy and weak girl. Wait a minute, Seems my prescription isn't working anymore." said Hazel with a wicked smile on her lips .
